Birthday Weekend w/ Family & Friends

We found the house to be immaculately clean and well suited for our needs. The owner was very attentive to our questions and responded promptly. Our only (little) hassle was the limit of just 4 cars parked in the driveway. We did find an easy solution to that by moving a vehicle to the beachside parking lot a block away. You pay for the space thru a phone app and at $15 for a full day I thought it was a bargain. Other than that everything was great. The Beach is a block away. There are two supermarkets within two minutes north or south. The pool, firepit & game rooms kept folks occupied all weekend and the 11:00am checkout is an hour later than other places we've stayed at in the area. All in all, it was a great weekend!

Simply the Best

Cocoa Beach Coastal Retreat is a truly outstanding place to stay in the Cocoa Beach area. We had to cancel a long-standing reservation at another place when the owner contacted us the day before that there was extensive cockroach damage! I turned to CBCR and inquired if it was possible to stay there for three nights. I contacted the owner and within two hours Jay contacted me to say that we could indeed stay at his place. What a relief! We have a family of seven. We are really glad we stayed here. The grandkids had a blast. They swam in the pool, played games in the garage, and played pool located between the kitchen/dining and the swimming pool. The bedrooms are quite large and the beds are comfortable. There is a large kitchen that is very convenient and easy to get around in and the front room is spacious. The house lies at the corner of two streets, one of them quite busy. Because of the facilities, however, we hardly noticed the street noise on the coastal highway. So not to worry. It's a great place to stay! The beach is just a short 5-minute walk (at grandparents' speed). Watching the kids on their boogie boards (available in the garage) and their father trying to keep pace was one of the several good memories we have of our stay. Whenever I contacted Jay, he responded within a very short period of time, sometimes in just minutes. Wonderful place! Outstanding host!
