Our family of four (with two boys ages 14 and 12) stayed one night in the Coeur d'Alene Days Inn in mid-July. The room was clean and comfortable. Location was great - a quick drive to the downtown area and well-connected to walking/jogging. Check in was fast and easy, we loved the complimentary cookies and popcorn. Complimentary coffee and breakfast was good - although with fewer options than we might have preferred (it was really just biscuits, gravy, and sausage as hot options with cereal and yogurt as other choices). The room has a couple minor issues - the AC seemed to be leaking water (presumably condensate) so the carpet was damp around it, and we couldn't get the remote for the t.v. to work. To be fair to the hotel, we didn't consider either of these issues to be a major problem and didn't report them except on a comment card - we just preferred to stay in the room as-is rather than deal with the hassle of having them addressed. Presumably this stuff isn't a problem in every room. We'd stay there again.

The location is convenient to any direction in the CDA region. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful, the whole hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, is clean. Breakfast is on the simple side but you can still get your basic food groups, it's fresh, tasty and filling. And oh boy, the cookies!

We had a great stay in Coeur d’Alene—very clean, well-kept, and super convenient for walking around downtown. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the place had everything we needed. Very welcoming overall. Highly recommend!

The stay at Days Inn was ok. The rooms weren't super nice and the building has probably seen better days. The first room I got checked into on the ground floor back of building the window wouldn't lock when I told the staff they tried to brute force it, but it wasn't until they couldn't brute force it that they finally decided to get me a new room. The wifi was terrible, slow and low signal. Definitely not enough access points. At one point the tv in the room threw a connection error and my show buffered for about 30 minutes. They also served the same breakfast every morning all week. I was there Sun - Wed and it was biscuits and gravy every morning with sausage there was not other hot breakfast options.

There is no elevator to the second floor, but that’s why this property is a steal compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms are adequate and clean, perfect for a stop over on our road trip. But, the staff is super friendly and amazing and is what keeps us coming back. Shout out to Bri, who contacted us when we left expensive headphones behind. They also let us check-in early so we wouldn’t have to leave our luggage in the car while at Silverwood.
