Escape to Safety, for a reset. An open stretch of beach beckons.
You may catch a glimpse of a whale breaching or dolphins playing. The inlet is perfect for little kids or big ones, for SUP boarding or canoeing, take your snorkel gear. You may have a chance to spot different species of fish as you float along - it's abundant with bird-life. ..
Head northward on the beach and throw a fishing line into one of the many pockets along the way.
Or head south and you may get lucky to re-discover "Buster" the shipwreck - revealed now & then as the sands subside.
Continue on & you'll find yourself at Woolgoolga Beach & Town Centre - approx. 20 mins. Here you'll find a range of diverse foods, a plethora of shops & great people. Plenty of local pubs & clubs to choose from with courtesy buses available.
The Golf Club isn't far either.
Some gorgeous coastal and inland spots to also explore.

Safety Beach short stay
A convenient house with comfortable beds and lovely en-suites.All bedrooms could benefit from bedside lights. A supply of toilet rolls is a must, not just leftovers from previous visitors. Also handwashes had not been topped up, surely a must for hygiene. The kitchen was not stocked at all. It’s ridiculous to not supply salt and pepper and other non degradables. There were no kitchen cloths eg Chux for wiping down benches and no kitchen hand towel or oven mitts. Only 2 small tea towels were provided one of which was very stained! With 6 adults staying we would expect 6 wine glasses, not four. Finally, the keys lockbox could not be opened by some adults because of its height plus with the big “wheel” in front of it. Fantastic Holiday
Our family stayed 5 nights in Dec Jan 2023 at this property. Nice house with clean and new bathrooms and a very nice kitchen. Just a few minutes walk through a beautiful forest to reach Safety Beach which was excellent. Soft sand all along and we could walk all the way from Woolgooga Beach till the end of Darkum Beach. Our family enjoyed the swims and long walks. It was a fantastic holiday.

Lovely location for a relaxing stay
I loved how the location gave us access to beautiful walks on the beach, but was far enough away to be super quiet and relaxing. The house is in great condition and was very clean and comfortable. The amount of wildlife nearby is incredible, and we saw kangaroos, kookaburras, lizards, owls, flying foxes and even fireflies in the little grove at the bottom of the street. Hope to visit again.
