“Clean and cozy. We stayed in the bigger cabin during our stay and found it clean and comfortable. It is somewhat difficult to get to, but not horrible... as described in the listing. We did see alot of wildlife and it is a beautiful area for sure! The firepit area is really nice.”

“Our family had the best week-long vacation, & although we missed home, we weren’t ready to leave! The location is beautiful & quiet, right on the lake. The road is a bit bumpy going in & we did drive a fair amount to get to all the activities our kids had planned- ha - but it was worth it to come back to the cabin! Quiet side of the lake, perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing, & relaxing. Loved morning coffee with all of the hummingbirds & we saw a lot of other wildlife as well. We built……

“This property is perfect for a peaceful stay. With it being on the lake and off the main path, it was tranquil and allowed for relaxation. It was close to amenities in the event you need anything. Would book again if I find myself in need of a place in the area!”

“Darnel did an excellent job with communication and answered every question quickly by text or call. Truly above and beyond. Our stay was adventurous and relaxing. A very nice getaway from KC. Our trucks were able to reach the property easy and I would recommend a truck or SUV. The locals in the area were kind and quiet. It was enjoyable to have a fire in the pit and there was plenty of wood around to use, with several fallen trees close by. The a-frame itself was cozy and peaceful. It got cold,……

“Nice quiet area near the water. Stayed here during the state fair.”

“We had family camping at the state park for the long weekend and wanted to stay close by. The cabin was perfect. We had time to visit easily and also an air conditioned place to sleep in. It also is dog friendly so we were able to bring the dogs. Getting a dog sitter on a long weekend is difficult. ”
