「It is very difficult to get luggage in mud path from main road; could have paved with simple slaps or concrete. 」

「Excellent stay at Mawamba lodge. Gardens around the ground are great and we saw sloths and Toucans a short walk from our room. Breakfast was great as was the dinner we had at the restaurant. Pool can get quite busy with families and children. Town is only a short walk away or they can provide a river taxi. Also took part in the tours arranged by the hotel which was fantastic with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Would highly recommend it visiting Tortuguero 」

「The hotel is located a short walk from the citycenter. From the porch you have two meters to the river. Nice chairs to sig and watch the sunset. The owners was fantastic. They helped you with everything. Nice and clean room with a very good aircondition. For me, this was love at first sight!」

「It might not be as fancy as it's neighbouring Resorts but what it lacks in this makes up in Manager & staff friendly, going out of there way to make it a memorable stay. Can't thank the Manager enough, helping us out on tours, getting into town and also connecting us to the next destination, making it stress free and it's just a chilled resort, yes it's basic but we loved it, great little pool which Son made as much use of it as possible and well the wildlife around the resort was just amazing!...

「These property is in the middle of a lagoon and you can only access by boat (like alll tortuguero) it has an amazing forest with lots of animals, we saw monkey birds etc. The room is confortable it has all you need」
