Debbie at front desk let us check in early due to us leaving early from Orange Beach, Alabama due to Hurricane Isaias. We had to evacuate and we were exhausted. We visited the town of Columbia, which is absolutely darling little town. Had dinner at Turnpike Tavern. Busy local sports bar just around the corner.

We were escaping from the hurricane in Florida and driving home to Michigan so didnt have a reservation. We couldnt make a reservation in advance, just drive as far as we could and stopped for a hotel. Stopped here and asked their price. Asked if they accepted AARP, nope. They wouldnt even match Expedia price so I stood at the desk and she watched me pay for it off Expedia. Not real great customer service. The room and beds were very good. Liked the cookies at check in and the breakfast. Wasnt here long enough to use the amenities.

Stayed overnight on our way to Florida. Clean facilities. Nice breakfast. Didn’t get to use the pool as we didn’t stay long enough. Nice hotel but a little pricey. $274 for one night.

Room was quiet & clean. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The drawers, hangers, and other room design elements were well thought out and useful. The TV was great and allowed you to sign into your own Netfix or Prime accounts for streaming and a couple of others. I would like to have been to add other steaming services as not everyone uses the same ones. I could not discover how or if I could do that. I did like that it logged you out of your personal streaming services upon checkout. My favorite hotel experience in this price range. We would definitely book again.

The indoor pool was very enjoyable. I was clean and well stocked with towels. The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping staff were very pleasant and accommodating. It’s rare anymore to find a hotel that comes in during your stay to empty the trash, make the beds, and replenish the towels. I would very much recommend.
