"My husband and I and our little dog spent a week at this wonderful little cottage in Kill Devil Hills, NC. This was the perfect place for us. We were able to visit the Wright Brother Memorial, spent an evening at the Elizabethan Gardens viewing the Winter-Lights display (which I highly recommend during a Christmas visit) and made a trip to Fort Raleigh where we learned about the Roanoke Lost Colony. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had everything that we needed. It sat right on a water canal and had the most beautiful view. The evenings were cold and so we enjoyed the sweet little fireplace every evening. The bed was very comfortable and there was an abundance of dishware to include wine glasses. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant and it was close to shopping, restaurants and fast food establishments. Our host Barbara was attentive to our needs and answered our questions quickly. This was the first time we had visited the Outer Banks and based on this visit we will definitely return. I highly recommend this little cottage during your visit to the Outer Banks of North Carolina."
