Peacefully situated modern style villa with private pool, panoramic views & Wifi

Casa Pura Vida is peacefully located in the 'campo' and offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The house is south west orientated so that you can enjoy the Spanish sun throughout the day.

The comfortable and spacious accommodation (101m²) comprises:
• Spacious living room with open kitchen
• Kitchen with ceramic hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and small kitchen appliances
• 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin)
• 1 bathroom with toilet, bidet, bath/shower, and wash hand basin
• Entrance hall with toilet and hand wash basin
• Ceiling fan in living room and bedrooms
• Fireplace with cassette
• Airconditioning (in living room and bedrooms)
• Satellite TV (TV Vlaanderen) + Blu-ray + DVD player + iPod docking station
• Free Wifi

The lounge opens directly onto the pergola covered dining area. The terrace also includes an outdoor kitchen with a brick built BBQ. Adjacent to the private swimming pool there is a cosy gazebo where you can relax in the shade. The garden is terraced and has a selection of Mediterranean plants and palms.

Casa Pura Vida is located 2 km off the Torrox - Competa road (A7207) and is accessible via a partly (un)paved mountain road.
The drive from Malaga Airport takes approximately an hour.
A (rental) car is required!

The holiday villa is ideally located for exploring the 'pueblos blancos', the charming whitewashed Andalusian villages along the 'Ruta del Vino y Sol'.
Torrox Pueblo, with its narrow alleys and cozy village square is a 15-minute drive. The beach of Torrox Costa with its numerous and nice terraces is a 20-minute drive.
The Autovía del Mediterráneo passes both villages. Charming villages (such as Frigiliana) and beautiful coastal towns (such as Nerja) are easily accessible via this highway.
The beautiful and cultural city of Malaga is only a 50 minute drive and within 1,5 hour is the historic city of Granada, with its beautiful Alhambra palace and Moorish gardens.

Sehr entspannender Hide away

Es war alles wie beschrieben. Ein sehr entspannter Aufenthalt. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist etwas aufregend, aber gut machbar. Wir waren froh, ein Auto mit etwas mehr Bodenfreiheit gemietet zu haben.

Secluded and private

Nice secluded property, if you want peace and quiet then this is perfect. Pool is a good size. Kevin the guide was brilliant, sent me lots of useful information and was always happy to help. Brilliant place for star gazing also.

Exceeded expectations

The villa’s position is second to none, stunning. The drive off the main road is a little daunting but you soon get use to it. The owners were very quick to respond with any queries and Kevin was very helpful as well. The villa itself is well equipped and all essentials were there from cooking oil to washing up liquid. The views from the pool area are breathtaking with the sun being there all day. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much.

Schönes Haus an schöner Lage

Leider ist der Text verschwunden! Dann Schreiben wir es halt nochmals. Danke an die Hausbesitzer, es hat alles bestens geklappt. Die Zufahrt ist sehr speziell, aber mit dem richtigen Auto, wir hatten einen JEEP, kein Problem. Die Hausübergabe war "kurz und schmerzlos", das war es dann auch schon mit dem Service. Besten Dank für den "Notvorrat"! Das Haus und das Grundstück sind toll, schnell hatten wir mit der gedeckten Lounge unseren Lieblingsplatz. Das Haus ist nicht neu aber gepflegt, der Wasserhahn in der Küche sollte jedoch dringend gemacht werden. Auch die Brause an der Aussendusche könnte ersetzt werden. Wir haben uns erlaubt, den Duschvorhang zu ersetzten, der alte Vorhang war nicht sehr appetitlich. Das Bett dürfte 20-40cm breiter sein, aber wir waren ja nur zu zweit und hatten Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Wir können das Haus empfehlen für Leute, die auch mal zuhause bleiben wollen. Die Aussicht und die Ruhe laden dazu ein. Unser Andalusien-Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

A lovely and quiet location in the hills

We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable time at this villa, the location was wonderful and just what we were looking for as a place to relax for a week. It was well equipped and clean and the pool/outside areas were spacious and ideal for chilling either during the day or in the evening. The property manager, Kevin, was friendly and most helpful both on our arrival and on the one time we had a question for him during our stay. Finding the villa was a little tricky, but that was because we chose to try and find it ourselves rather than take up the offer of being met by Kevin at a local fuel station. The drive down from the main road can be a little bumpy, so care is required but this short drive down if definitely worth it and we would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay in this great villa. We have been enjoying villa holidays in this area for many years and this is just about the best one yet. Inside and outside spaces both equally good.We really enjoyed the lovely pool and outdoor area. It was every bit as good as the photos. We would be happy to book again!

Maison très agréable dans un environnement magnifique ! Par contre il serait appréciable que la climatisation dans la chambre puisse être utilisé toute la nuit car à cause du minuteur obligé de se lever toutes les 2 heures 😉. Un grand frigo serait le bienvenu également. Sinon c étais super !

Atemberaubende Villa

Eine atemberaubende Villa in exponierter Lage. Umgeben von einer malerischen Kulisse. Die Inneneinrichtung und Außenanlagen sind sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und gepflegt. Der Pool war für unsere dreiköpfige Familie neben der Terrasse der Schauplatz unseres Aufenthaltes. Die Fahrt entlang der Berge ist mit einem Kleinwagen bei umsichtigen Fahren gut zu bewältigen. Allerdings waren wir das bereits von anderen Andalusien Reisen gewohnt. Jedoch sollte man etwas Zeit bis Torrox Costa (ca. 30 Minuten) oder Nerja (ca. 45 Minuten) einplanen. Über einen vorherigen Kommentar bezüglich des Flugzeuglärms kann ich nur den Kopf schütteln. Natürlich hört man gelegentlich mal entfernt ein Flugzeug. Ich tippe mal, die meisten sind in solch einem an und abgereist, oder? Einen besonderen Dank möchten wir an dieser Stelle noch einmal Kevin aussprechen. Ein herzlicher und zuvorkommender Mensch, auf den jederzeit Verlass war. So einen Ansprechpartner vor Ort zu haben trug wesentlich zu unserem erholsamen und entspannten Urlaub bei. Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberfamilie Lammens war durchgehend angenehm und freundlich! Wir freuen uns wiederkommen zu dürfen!

Lovely villa and outside space.

It was unfortunate that it was raining when we arrived in Spain but this was not so depressing when we arrived at the villa. It had a lovely lounge with gorgeous views all round. The electric radiators and air con provided much needed warmth. Luckily by the following day the weather perked up so we could enjoy the outdoor space. The outdoor kitchen and bbq was wonderful with much needed shade whilst cooking. And we loved the pagoda seating area with 360 degree views. Sun or shade depending where you sat anytime of day. Wonderful! The pool is just a nice size for a swim or cool down. The kitchen is well equipped with a modern hob and oven. A King size bed would be a nice addition to the bedroom. Plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. My only grumble would be the bathroom. That shower curtain and me did battled everyday. A shower cubicle would be better. I dislike stepping in and out a bath although I appreciate some people like baths. Just my personal opinion. The road leading to the villa by Andalusia standards is pretty good. It’s mostly made up, not too narrow or steep. Once you’ve done it once or twice it isn’t too bad, especially when you see how steep or narrow some of the roads are nearby. Competa and Torrox towns are about 15/20 minutes drive as too to Torrox beach for shops and restaurants. I would say if you plan on doing more cooking than eating out then stop at a Carefour on the way from the airport to the villa as shops nearby aren’t huge. Co-Op size.

Our Special Place ❤️

This was our fourth year staying at Casa Pura Vida and we have already booked up our fifth for next year! I think our record speaks for itself as to how we feel about it! We unfortunately couldn’t travel last year and missed it so much we couldn’t wait to return! It is our special place and we couldn’t imagine holidaying anywhere else! Perfection!

We have stayed at many villas across Spain and Portugal and this villa is amongst the best Its private and quiet with great views down the valley the house and pool are excellent All essentials are provided for cooking inside and out we love our barbeques, Visiting local towns is easy enough with a car aand we really liked Nerja which has lots of choice food wise and a busy but pleasant atmosphere We only met Kevin and he was great, explained everything and we knew he was available if needed Many thanks to Kevin , Geert and Sofie we had a lovely holiday after waiting three years due to Covid hope to return sometime in the future Regards Gary and Gill PS: Plenty of Gecko's around ( little lizard things ) and we worked out thats what the drawings are in the guest book lol

Ein traumhaft schöner Urlaub

Ein phantastisches, komplett ausgestattetes Haus auf einem großen, gepflegten Grundstück in traumhafter Lage mit toller Aussicht. Alles in exzellentem Zustand und ausgesprochen sauber, sehr gepflegter Pool. Sollte dennoch mal etwas unklar oder nachzufragen sein, ist der Verwalter Kevin, der supernett ist, immer nur 1 Whatsapp entfernt. schnelles Internet ist vorhanden, Handynetz nicht. Ein Vorkommentator hat geschrieben, dass Hundegebell und der Hahn störend seien. Unsere Antwort hierauf: Wem das ländliche Andalusien zu laut ist, sollte besser zu Hause Urlaub machen. Auch die Bemerkung zu Flugzeuglärm ist völliger Blödsinn, wir haben jedenfalls nichts gehört. Auch braucht man für die Anfahrt keinen Geländewagen, wir hatten einen Opel Corsa und keinerlei Probleme, wobei die Anfahrt zugegebenermaßen ein wenig abenteuerlich und bei Dunkelheit nicht zu empfehlen ist. Leute, die abends bummeln möchten, mieten deshalb besser etwas Anderes. Wer aber einen entspannenden, erholsamen Urlaub in toller Umgebung verbringen und sich wie zu Hause fühlen will, ist hier goldrichtig. Wir kommen jedenfalls wieder!

Relax en en la montaña

La casa es fantástica, tal y como se muestra en las fotos. Si tienes intención de aislarte y disfrutar del alojamiento, desde luego es tu sitio. El único inconveniente es el camino de llegada a la casa (estrecho y con algunos badenes profundos), el acceso es complicado porque está en medio de la montaña. Esto nos ha limitado la opción de salir y hacer más turismo por la zona. Pero ha merecido la pena.

La casa está muy bien, es cómoda y dispone de todo lo necesario. La zona de la piscina es lo mejor y donde pasábamos la mayor parte del día. La barbacoa está genial. Lo único malo era que el aire acondicionado solo estaba en el salón y hubiera estado bien que hubiera en las habitaciones. Lo peor de la casa era el acceso desde la carretera. Era realmente difícil llegar a ella, ya que había que ir varios km por caminos sin asfaltar, con muchos baches y el gps perdía la señal. Hay que tener en cuenta el tipo de vehículo, ya que puede dar con los bajos. El descanso está asegurado allí y si lo que buscas es tranquilidad no dudes que la vas a encontrar.

Prachtige woning op heel mooie plek!

Als je zoekt naar een plek waar je echt even weg bent van de bewoonde wereld en waar je echt tot rust kunt komen, dan is dit ecbt een top plek. In een vallei met rondom uitzicht op de bergen begroeid met druiven mango’s en avocado’s , staat dit hele comfortabele en zeer compleet uitgeruste huis. De ontvangst was heel prettig en in het huis is echt alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Ook leuke spelletjes . Het terras en het zwembad zijn geweldig. Wij waren met onze dochter van 11 en zoon van 16 en we hebben ons heel goed vermaakt. Zoals anderen ook al hebben aangegeven is de weg naar het huis toe wel even een uitdaging (smalle en stijle en ongeasfalteerde weggetjes) maar daar een je na een paar keer oefenen wel aan. De bedden zijn goed, er is een buitenkeuken met een hele fijne bbq, in de keuken vind je een enorme lading aan servies en keukengerei . Wil je naar de kust of de supermarkt dan is dat ongeveer 25 minuten rijden. Wij zouden graag nog eens terugkomen!

Super udstyret villa

Et lækkert hus med alt hvad der behøves. Dejlig pool og poolområde. Huset har alt det nødvendige og er godt indrettet. Personligt syntes vi at der manglede aircondition i de 2 værelser, men ellers er der ikke noget der mangler. Kevin var hjælpsom, rar og let at kommunikere med. Vi havde en fantastisk ferie og tænker at leje huset igen en gang i fremtiden😎
