    Spend your summer lounging out on the spacious sundeck, BBQ on the go and your favourite cold drink in hand.

    The open-plan living, dining and kitchen offers a bright and relaxed spot to unwind at the end of a summer day spent down on the beach or exploring the area.

    Sleeping up to 4 guests makes this a charming and easy-care spot to call home.

    With the beach only a 2-minute stroll away, you can swim in the safe, sheltered bay to your heart's content, or stroll along the coastline towards Lonely Bay.

    For a relaxing beach holiday, make yourself at home in the upstairs unit of Captains Bach at Cooks!

    For larger groups, the downstairs unit can be booked too.

Great location

Beautiful view from the balcony!!! And a really nice lounge and deck. Kitchen could do with a refurbishment but was still functional. We sadly had to leave early to escape a cyclone but still had a lovely time.

No WiFi, no AC, no single mosquito net, no Wash-machine... and NO WARM WATER for the first 24 hours. Until we found the very good hidden switch for warm water (not mentioned in the guide, not mentioned in the description). Also nearly no view at the ocean. Beach access through road only. Communication with the host nearly impossible (waiting couple of days, or at least 24 hours). And: One (not even full) roll of toilet paper for two persons and three days is not THAT much.

Coromandel Adventuring

We had a wonderful time at Captain’s Bach at Cooks Beach. Classic kiwi bach styles - days spent exploring, then afternoon drinks on the top deck with a bbq every evening followed by a stroll up the beach just outside. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Families Holidaying Together

Captains Bach @Cooks offers perfect living arrangements for families coming together for a holiday, providing separate living accommodation with communal gathering areas . Clean, tidy with good facilities. We rented all 3 units together. Good parking handy to the beach. Definitely recommended. Note: Perhaps a fan could be recommended for the hot summer season.

Myself and a few of my friends stayed here for the weekend. It was so clean and cosy. Checking in was very easy and Kelly was great for keeping in touch with us and making sure we didn't need anything. The setting was ideal. Would recommend it to anyone!
