「We took the opportunity to stop in Beaufort on our way to Savannah. The Inn was marvelous, as expected. I had previously stayed there about 10 years ago and the experience now did not disappoint. My only minor complaint is in comparison to the previous visit when breakfast was served on the premises. Aside from this, everything was top notch.」

「The welcome of warm chocolate cookies was the perfect end to a long driving day. Room 16 in the cottage was perfect for us, a comfortable bed and a Jacuzzi tub to soothe body and soles after hours of roaming the beautiful neighborhood. The French toast breakfast was so good. The front porch tables were full but the tables and service inside were great too. There were some minor problems in the bathroom lighting. Everything was clean and very attractive in decor. 「As always, we we enjoyed our stay. The owners are always so kind and welcoming. The rooms are clean and the area is quiet even though it is by the main highway. 」

「Maybe a little overrated compared to reviews. It's one of those hybrid, labor-saving "hotels" with no real staff on premises and lots of cameras. So it's a little impersonal. Walls seemed flimsy. Nice bathroom, though. Probably better than some options in Beaufort, but not so much personality. 」

「The restaurant at the Anchorage 1770 has excellent food with seating on the patio. We made the mistake of not specifying outdoor seating when we made the dinner reservation. The hotel is beautiful and walkable within the historic district.」

「Pictures accurately show property and that’s always appreciated. 4 minute drive to historic downtown area where our wedding events were. Only issues we had were that the backyard gave our dogs fleas and in the check in instructions, the owners asked for a cash or check fee for the dogs. All fees should be listed up front and not asked for on the side.」
