Best Place for a Couples Retreat

Me and My husband stayed here for our Honeymoon and it was the best. It was private, Quite and the view was the best from the beach. Everyone we showed photos to thought we were in Bali!Will definitely come back here again for another get away or our 1 year anniversary. The Host was also quick with there response to any questions we had throughout our stay.

Recommend

Lovely quiet and peaceful getaway. Very private. Clean and well equipped with everything you need at your fingertips. Great location with beach only a short walk away. Would stay here again.

Disappointing Experience

My partner and I booked the place for a couples retreat. Unfortunately we broke up and needed to cancel the reservations. Even though we gave 2 weeks notice we were advised there’s a strict no cancellation rule… We decided to go anyway and make the most of it. We arrived at night and it was pitch black. It took us 20 minutes of hunting around before we found the keys. The owner would take their time getting back to us so we were locked outside in the cold. We were told no smoking or else there would be a fine…but we found cigarette ash in the kitchen by the power point. The cutting board was covered in mould. Once again, it’s funny there’s fines left right and centre but no concession for poor cleaning or the ash on the kitchen counter top? The pool isn’t heated so don’t book in winter it’s freezing They had butter and spreads but no bread. They had limited fire wood. We wanted to cook our dinner over the fire but the fire ran out. There’s no lights outside where the bbq is so we had to cook in pitch darkness. The fairy lights in the bedroom were out of battery. Anyway long story short it kinda felt like a doll house. They give you half of everything like bbq with no outdoor lights, pool without heating, fairy lights without battery, cutting board but the catch is it’s covered in mould. Spread but no bread: it’s like a big joke The good thing that came from the retreat is we got back together after it,

Small granny flat

Property is only a small granny flat, kitchen has a few appliances but is overall pretty small and cramped Bathroom is beautiful Pool is often dirty with leaves but is a nice relaxing place Limited reception and television options (no Netflix due to no wifi offered) Nice backyard walkway to the beach, very beautiful plants and views

Lovely oasis

It was a great spot and beautiful garden The outdoor areas seemed not to ha e been clean with outdoor couch dirty and not pleasant to be in The fridge freezer top had iced up and door not shut so water was everywhere when we went in just felt like no one had been there to do a great clean Overall we loved the experience but for the price would have expected a better clean in garden and inside

Tranquil

This is a superbly unique property. It’s positioned in a great sleepy, small beach town... perfect if you don’t want to be surrounded by tourists and just looking for complete peace and quite. The view and access to the beach is what makes this property THE BEST. Unfortunately there was no WiFi (which can be viewed as good or bad) and some of the utilities could have been cleaned a little better, but overall would definitely stay again for a long weekend. The communication with the property manager was great also
