“The place exceeded expectations. Clean, cute space. Roomier than expected. Hot tub was on and at a good temperature. The Main Street with restaurants and bars is literally a 4 minute walk, yet the house feels secluded in a good way. Really enjoyed our stay.”

“We were a group of moms who snuck away for the night and this cabin was the perfect retreat. Well stocked and very cozy on a winter night. We had to leave very early the next morning to beat a snowstorm and the very long driveway was already sanded and we felt very safe. Lisette was great to work with and communicated everything with efficiency. We would love to return. ”

“Nice place close to the track but should be cleaner and bug free. Lots of spiders everywhere when we arrived. Owner apologized but as they say you only get one chance at a good impression. While the outside appearance did not adversely affect our stay, I would strongly suggest to the owner to power wash the house especially the area at the guest entrance. It could look brand new and appealing with minimal effort versus spider webs, bugs, dirt and mold on the exterior of the house. Needs an AC……

“This is our 4th year staying in Hillsdale post-Christmas but this house is the FIRST that had EVERYTHING we needed--spacious bedrooms. easy access to the woods, a beautiful "no traffic" road to take walks up, spectacular views, plenty of "hang-out" space for everyone, a fireplace. Our family is unanimous that this is the best house we have stayed in in Hillsdale. We are VERY grateful that they had a Graco pack-and-play in the upstairs bedroom--our son and his wife brought their own, but it……

The house itself is well maintained and if you forgot towels or even toiletries the host Sabrina has you covered. Sabrina is the one who makes your stay shine further - always accessible and highly responsive. Consider a visit if you are seeking quiet comfort, a drink by the wood stove fireplace, or a perfect landing spot……
