With 3 full bedroom and 3 bathrooms, this home comfortably accommodates up to 10 total people. Hear that? That's the entire family and maybe even a few friends! There's also bonus sleeping areas so that everyone you bring along feels comfortable.

Whoever is lucky enough to take the master bedroom won't be disappointed. The views of the beach from this room are to die for. The master bedroom also has a cozy fireplace, making for a perfect ending to the day.

The Surf Watch House is complete with a full kitchen as well as a dining table and bar, making it spacious enough for everyone to enjoy a meal together. The kitchen is fully stoked with pots, pans and all of the utensils you'll need to whip up dinner after a day at the beach.

The upstairs loft is an open space allowing for family and friends to enjoy a good movie on the flat screen television. There's a sofa that pulls out as well as a couple of chairs, making it the perfect space to entertain or relax with your loved ones.

Surf Watch has 4-5 very efficient clam guns in the garage available for your use - if you're vising during clamming season.

Dogs are welcome with a standard per dog, per night fee.

By The Sea, By The Sea is the only full-stack vacation rental management company in the area. We vow to make booking with us simple and exciting. While others know their way around it, we know that booking a rental property home for your vacation can be unfamiliar territory for some. Because we know this, we ensure that each of our properties is up to high-quality standards.

We do our absolute best to provide support to our guests when booking.

We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise.

MANAGED: Property requires good behavior and adherence to instructions, house rules, terms, conditions, onsite instructions, and may require online registration, accidental damage protection, and electronic signature before final booking confirmation, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Access instruction including access will be emailed. If not received, call before traveling to property. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. Unless otherwise arranged, check-in is between 5 and 7pm and check-out is before 11am. Dogs only allowed if approved in advanced in writing with quantity, weight limit, and a per-dog, per-day fee. Due to government and owner requirements, occupancy may never exceed the number of registered guests, dogs and vehicles. Drop-in guests are not allowed. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording, and interior decibel meters to monitor noise. Bookings over 30 days or longer are with Prospera VIP.

Property was clean in general but showing wear. Repair needed in the kitchen and cabinetry upstairs. Some lights not working. Sleeping capacity is not quite as advertised. Kitchen equipped poorly -too few glasses and pots frypans in very poor condition.

Property was very pet and family friendly. Very lived in but comfortable. Close to beach and nice ocean views from the 2nd floor. Lots of sleeping and sitting areas. Well stocked for cooking and eating. Wish there had been a TV on the 1st floor dining and kitchen area. It was a big football game weekend and couldn’t get good wifi connection to airplay to the Roku TV upstairs. Had to go to the pub to watch football.

Good for a family

Overall it was fine. A couple small things that need to be addressed but nothing major. There are 2 rooms and 1 room created with a curtain and another with an armoire. It is a good place to stay with a family. We were there to enjoy the beach so we did not spend a lot of time in the house, however, it did meet our needs. We would definitely stay there again.

Not really great

It was hard to gain entry. It said on the paperwork to call for the code. We called and they said it was in the paperwork they sent. We poured over the paperwork and in bold red letters it says call for code. When I called back, he sent me to the back door to receive an emergency key. We had to enter each time from the back. There was noticeable damage to the nightstand. The carpet was absolutely filthy and was full of thorns, so even though we removed our shoes at the door, our feet were pretty much tortured the first few days as we were finding them all. The showers have mold, The carpets have pet stains. I get that this is the PNW so there is going to be some odor and mold grows quickly, so that is more reason to do thorough cleaning between guests. The drawers were full of crumbs. For people that have allergies to food, or celiac like me, that is a nightmare waiting to happen. I had to clean everything prior to using it and some things I just didn’t touch. Burned out lightsWhen we arrived there was a bag of garbage left in the master bedroom. There was also garbage already in the two small trash cans in the garage. We are a family of 5 and we made every meal in the house to save . I noticed that the neighbors had their trash out for pick-up. No one came to put it out. The trash was overflowing when we left and the garage was too smelly to park the car in there. I would say you should move the garbages to the shed if you aren’t going to use the scheduled trash pick-up.

Girls beach getaway

We enjoyed a nice quite stay. Kitchen was well stocked, and the house was comfortable. Location was easy access to a small store within walking distance and a short drive to Seabrook and Ocean Shores. Decks and patio were very dirty with no chairs to sit on, and yard isn't maintained, so we didn't spend time outside. The beach was close with an easy walk, but the beach, it had signs posted everywhere that the birds were nesting, so there was no beach access! That was very disappointing, as we wanted to spend time on the beach.House should update the garbage instructions because there are no city garbage containers to dispose the garbage or recycling.

Tucked away family gem

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this house. Lots of room for a decent family gathering and the kids loved the bunk bed. We loved playing board games on the downstairs table next to the kitchen while cooking meals too!

Great house to all get together and have fun all at the same location, close to so many different attractions including the ocean, food, drinks, shopping, casino, wildlife and more! We all had a great time in this spacious house!

Dump in disguise

The house is not maintained. The outside is in terrible condition as are most of the neighboring houses. The yard is not viable for pets or humans. The carpet is so nasty you won’t want to take your shoes off. If it’s hot and you want to open the windows be prepared to let wasps and mosquitoes in as the screens are all tattered. The images on the post are a lie and the view from the master is not amazing as they say. You have to look through power lines, over a low end motel, over trailer people, and then you can kind of see the water. The oven fan and light don’t work. Nothing for sitting out on the back deck but unsafe rusted metal chairs. I would give a negative star rating if I could. Pay more for a better place and skip this dump. Also skip any by the same rental agency “By The Sea”.

Inside was much better than outside. The next door neighbors who live there year round were very friendly to us. It would help to cut the weeds down in the yard. I would not let the kids play in the back yard or my dog to use it either. Good location to the beach and enough beds and bathrooms for all of us. I think everyone enjoyed the stay.

Bad Experience

Not enough towels. Supposed to be linen exchanged on Tuesdays, this never happened. The beds/mattresses were old and uncomfortable. There was one tucked in a corner that had to be used and there was a stash of garbage in the corner of that area. Who knows how long it had been there as there was no way to get at it unless you pulled the bed out. There was not a covered garbage out side. We left a bag of garbage out side, as we were told to in the morning, and an animal got into it. The management called me and threw me attitude because they had to pick the garbage up out of the yard. I explained that there was no covered garbage can to put bags into. That was met with the argument that, Yes there was and I needed to use it. Then I was hung up on. It put a roof over our head but overall my guys and myself were not comforatble at all.

Family clamming and get away

Perfect location for 2 families to share with lots of room to not feel cramped on each other. Loved the Mudd room to take off sandy shoes before entering home. Only negative I can say is the carpets are really really stained. They should be replaced.

It is a cozy home with a lot of room. Beautiful views from upstairs windows. It was nice that it is right on a clamming beach. The only negative is the carpets are nasty.

Not what it seems

When I made our reservation 8 months ago, there was a hot tub listed. Also a propane grill outside. We planned for both. We were unhappy at having to go locally to buy overpriced charcoal and a lighter because the grill was NOT propane. And there was NO hot tub. The house was quite warm after being closed up before our arrival, so we opened windows only to find that most were missing screens. And, those that had them had holes in them. There is no AC in this house, so we had to tolerate moths and flies in order to cool the house down. The master bedroom is not on the main heating system for the house. It has a gas stove, that doesn't work. Thank goodness for the extra blankets that we brought with us. When getting ready to cook breakfast the morning after our arrival, we found that the vent fan and light over the stove don't work. We had to open windows and use a standing fan to move the fumes from cooking bacon. One of the skillets in the cupboard has the coating flaking off so badly that I was tempted to throw it away. The bottom rack of the dishwasher doesn't fit properly, so doesn't move as it should for pulling it out or pushing it in. The chairs and couches are so broken down that I, at a very overweight 58 years old with a bad knee, found it easier to sit on the floor than to try to get out of them. We paid a pet deposit to be able to take our dog and were warned about the possibility of paying for any damages. When we arrived, before my dog ever came in the house, I documented so many pet stains that the pet deposit should be refunded. We actually left the carpets cleaner than we found them. The location close to the beach is nice, but people should be warned about the house two doors down that is loaded with junky vehicles filled with garbage. Previous experiences with VRBO will have me reserving again, but not with the management company that takes care of this property.
