Amazing place with friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay, but it was disappointing that the pool wasn't working, the hot tub intermittently, and our room's slider had moisture damage that prevented us from seeing the beautiful view.

This is THE place to go if you are a low-maintenance family. Excellent amenities (we went kayaking every day) and friendliness. It’s like the people who come here actually want to be here. Love it.

First time staying here. Amazing staff, very clean. Amenities are above and beyond in my opinion. Swing set, fire pit on demand, courtesy kayaks and boats, short walk to the beach, rooms are cozy and beautiful. Comfortable bed. Everything made this stay very pleasurable.

Everything was exactly as I expected. Path to beach needed a small improvement during rainy season to not have to walk through a large unavoidable puddle but it was already stormy and there was a warm dry room to come back to! Everything was clean and even the sofa bed was comfy. 5 of us stayed here just fine. We will DEFINITELY come back!!

I highly recommend this place. I will say when we first got there we were a little skeptical just because the Wi-Fi doesn’t really work and the hot tub was not in service. We were pretty excited to unwind by hopping in the hot tub when we first got there, but it was not working. We considered getting another hotel in the middle of the night just because we really needed Wi-Fi and we really, really wanted to soak in a hot tub. But I’m super glad we ended up staying! The place is just so lovely. It’s so relaxing. The trails to the beach are great, there are so many amenities on the property, lots of cool little aspects from the fire pit they light for you in the evenings, to the outdoor kitchen, to the fun clubhouse. They are pet friendly! But the very best part about this place is just the staff. I’ve never stayed at a place where people were more accommodating or more willing to go out out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Also, just super duper nice people! We only live about two hours away, so it’s pretty much guaranteed that the people at this resort are going to see us often. And by the way, they do not advertise the property as providing Wi-Fi so it was my mistake for assuming there would be. My husband and I went to Ocean Shores for a work weekend but they were so cool to make sure that the clubhouse was available to us early and late so that we could have quiet work time as there is connectivity in the clubhouse. It’s just spotty elsewhere.

Nice resort with many amenities. The pool and hot tub were closed. They had a big fire pit that was well stocked with wood. The game room was fun. Easy trail to the beach. Maybe 5 minute walk. There is a convenient store about 1.5 miles away. The room was well equiped with a kitchen and fulll size refrigerator. The only downside was the beds are upstairs via a spiral staircase and the bathroom is on the lower level. Midnight bathroom trips are interesting. I would stay there again.

This was a nice place to stay, clean, and fairly close to the beach. The pool and hot tub are still down. I love the individual heaters in each room and the fireplace is nice and cozy. Be sure to turn the fireplace up SLOWLY, as it is gas and can make a loud boom if you turn it up too quickly. If you walk barefoot, mind the stairs, as they are made of rocks and HURT going up and down them.

The staff was great. The maintenance guy was incredible, very knowledgeable, very helpful. The only problem I had was. You need to take your shoes off inside.And when you went upstairs, they had concrete steps that was pebbles on it.I would have brought thicker socks

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Surfcrest Resort. It's a great location, the staff is friendly, it's close to the ocean, and the house was very comfortable and convenient. The only downside was that the pool heater wasn't working (it was broken). We will definitely be back!

Got this place for my son's 18th birthday (him and three friends). We weren't sure how the owners would feel about it - they are all great kids and we had no doubt they would not be any problem. The owners were super friendly and said how great it was we were doing this for our son. They are some of the nicest people and my wife and I almost got a room there to stay for the weekend. Small kitchen with everything you need, nice patio, TV and the rounded staircase is super cool. Very cozy place and with a lot of charm. Places like this close to the water generally have an ocean smell but that is completely normal. Next time we head to Ocean Shores, we will definitely book here.
