Alemar House located in Barbati on the north east coast of Corfu surrounded by olive groves. Air conditioning in 2 bedrooms. This house is ideal for couples and families. The setting for this house takes your breath away, the sea views from the balcony and terrace are truly spectacular.
Walks and olive groves nearby. Shops, tavernas, bus service and beach within 3 mins walking.

The balcony area with table and chairs for the outside eating together with soft furnished seating for relaxing and enjoying the panoramic sea views. So whether you wish to simply relax and enjoy the view, perhaps with a chilled glass of something delicious, or enjoy the opportunity for al fresco dining, this area is ideal at any time of day or evening.
The private pool with sun beds and umbrellas invite you to relax and enjoy hot summer days.
The wonderful sunbathing terrace with sunbeds and parasol and some natural shade from the overhanging olive trees, the area is not at all overlooked providing you with complete privacy.

Accessibility:
Guests with mobility issues may find this property unsuitable, as there are a number of steps ( specifically 50 ) to encounter from the car parking area to the villa. Once there, however, everything is on the same level and is the perfect spot for a quiet relaxing holiday.

Further details:
Barbati is situated at the north-eastern end of Corfu just before Nissaki, about 18 km from Corfu town, the port and airport. Perched on the foothills of the majestic Mount Pontokrator, with a height of 906 meters, it is one of the most scenic regions of the whole island, amidst green cypress trees, olive trees and rich greenery. It offers breathtaking views along the coast to Corfu town on the right and across the Corfu channel to Albania and the Greek mainland on the left.

Barbati resort itself is a small and quiet relaxing village, popular for its crystal clear blue sea and long pebble beach. On the beach you can enjoy all sorts of water sports (paragliding, jet ski, water ski, bananas, etc.), you can go diving with the Apollo diving centre of Corfu and also rent a boat for an unforgettable day trip to the beautiful little beaches along the coast. There are many tavernas and restaurants with startling view across the Ionian blue, offering a wide choice of food.

In one word- perfect! (place to spend time!)A very nice apartment with everything you need!And with nice interior that makes you feel home from the first moment. From the moment we arrived at the airport we have been looked after by Alex, the owners son. The villa is wonderful, the private pool and sunbathing area outstanding with remarkable views. Restaurants, beach bars and more all within a few minutes walk. We look forward to returning in 2026.

We had a fabulous stay at this Villa. Dinos was an excellent host - the service collecting us from and dropping us off at the airport was really appreciated. Also he was really helpful with the best places to eat, etc. The villa is nicely decorated, pretty modern, has a lovely area for sunbathing and the pool is fab. We did not stray much from the villa, being people who most of the time like to take in the sun and occasionally jump in the pool. There are plenty of small shops for food and good tavernas in the village. The beach is not great as it is stony but if you have the right shoes or resilient feet you can get in a usually calm sea. We can highly recommend the villa and we intend to return next year.

Our favorite stay

This was hands down the best short term rental experience we’ve ever had. Not only was the unit spotless, updated, well situated with stunning views, Dinos made it feel like we had our own travel guide. He sent us lots of recommendations for places to eat which we took full advantage of and even helped arrange a boat rental. Going above and beyond like this really helped us relax and took away a lot of decision making stress which made our trip feel longer than it was. We would absolutely recommend or return again.

Osterurlaub in wunderschönem Ferienhaus

Wir waren über Ostern mit unseren Kindern (14 11 Jahre) 10 Tage in diesem schönen Ferienhaus zu Gast.Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.Die Aussicht über das Meer und die Barbati Riviera ist traumhaft.Das Haus und die Einrichtung / Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben. Alles war sehr sauber. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde das Haus zweimal gereinigt und wir bekamen neue Handtücher.Auch den Pool konnten wir jetzt im April schon nutzen. Das Wasser hatte etwa 17-18 Grad Celsius.Am Barbati Beach ist man zu Fuß in 2 Minuten. Im Ort sind 3 kleine Supermärkte und mehrere Restaurants vorhanden, von denen allerdings jetzt im April noch einige geschlossen hatten. Empfehlen können wir das La Piazza und das Starlights Restaurant sowie auch die kleine Bäckerei im Ort.Dinos war ein sehr herzlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation klappte jederzeit einwandfrei. Er hat uns viele gute Tips gegeben.Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, was wir auf jeden Fall auch empfehlen würden, da es auf Korfu viel zu entdecken gibt.Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung!

10 days in heaven.

What a property and location. We were blessed with 23-25C sunny days for all of our tens days at Dinos' villa in late October-early November. This meant that we could maximise our use of the excellent outside facilities and especially the pool which was warm enough to swim in with ease (as was the sea). Comfortable beds, more than sufficient internal facilities and excellent local amenities (although some did shut at the start of November) meant that we had an excellent stay. We would totally recommend this villa to all.

Perfect family holiday with older kids

We had the most relaxing holiday we could have hoped for and everyone enjoyed it immensely. The house and pool were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, with everything that we needed for our stay. We didn't hire a car, but beach, bakery, numerous shops, bars and tavernas within short walking distance. Dinos is a great host and really cared about ensuring that we had a nice relaxing holiday. Lovely villa with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday

Marvellous!

Villa Alemar is a perfect home away from home. The facilities are spot on. A nice little pool, big enough to cool down and play in, after a nice day at the beach, which itself is a short walk down the hill. Barbati itself has a few lovely tavernas and restaurants and enough shops to get what you need during the day. Dinos, the host, can't do enough to help to make your stay unforgettable.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit fantastischer Aussicht

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in hervorragender Lage. Das beste ist die Terrasse mit Pool und diversen Sitzmöglichkeiten und vor allem mit einem herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Alle 3-4 Tage wird das Haus gereinigt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Mehrere Restaurants, kleinere Geschäfte und der Strand sind alles in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein Auto um die Insel zu erkunden oder zum Einkaufen ist trotzdem zu empfehlen. Der eigene Parkplatz unterhalb des Hauses direkt an der Straße ist praktisch. Dinos ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber der uns mit einigen Tips versorgt hat. Wir haben uns in der Villa Alemar sehr wohl gefühlt.

Two weeks of sun and relaxation

Very helpful and welcoming landlord. Breathtaking views over the bay, with Corfu town twinkling on one side and the mountains of Albania in the distance. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A great place to explore the island. It should be mentioned that there are 55 steps from street level to the door....it will get you fit. The view is worth the climb!

Villa Alemar ist traumhaft zwischen Meer und Bergen gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet, was für einen gemütlichen Urlaub nötig ist. Die Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Unser Gastgeber Dinos hat uns viele Tipps für Restaurants und Aktivitäten gegeben, vielen Dank dafür :) Für Verbindungen in größere Orte, Erkundungen und das Einkaufen würde ich ein Auto empfehlen, in Barbati selbst bekommt man allerdings auch das Nötigste. Ich würde dort immer wieder Urlaub machen und kann die Villa sehr empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit Blick über das Meer

Die Wohnung besticht vor allem durch die dazugehörige Terrasse samt Pool, von der aus man einen atemberaubenden Blick über das Meer und die Berge Korfus und der albanischen Küste hat. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und einfach. Er hat uns mit guten Tips versorgt. Außerdem wurde die Wohnung nach der Hälfte des Urlaubes geputzt und mit neuen Handtüchern ausgestattet. Das habe ich bisher bei einer Ferienwohnung noch nicht erlebt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen!

Amazing stay!

We have just returned from an amazing week in Barbati. The house is so modern, clean and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including air con which was very welcome even in September. There are loads of towels and smaller touches like a hairdryer - even a corkscrew! The views from the terrace/pool area are just breath taking and we spent lots of time there. Our family enjoyed the pool and the lovely beach is just down the hill. It wasn't ever too busy. Barbati has lots of great places to eat and drink serving excellent food. The island bus service is great with stops near the house so we went to Corfu Town and neighbouring resorts. Our kids took a boat out for the day and loved that. Thanks so much to Dinos, Sandra and Alex. They picked us up and took us back to the airport for a very reasonable fee and answered any questions we had straightaway. Our holiday seemed to go by in a flash - hopefully we will return soon!

Lovely house, great pool, peace, quiet yet close to beach, village and bus stops

We had a spectacular holiday at Alemar House in August. Our family of three (2 adults, 1 8 year old) absolutely loved the clean, cool house, beautiful view, and amenities. There was plenty of space outside to rest and read, and we spent every day in the pool. The house had a great BBQ, well equipped kitchen, new TV and was calm and peaceful with no-one overlooking us. As non-car-drivers, we were also pleasantly surprised by the Green Bus network, which got us easily to Kassiopi and Corfu Town, without much delay. Dinos, Sandra, and Alex were so helpful and kind. This was a fantastic place to stay on Corfu, highly recommended. Thank you so much.

Großartige Lage

Waren als Familie mit zwei Söhnen (12+13) hier, der Aufenthalt hat allen sehr gut gefallen. Die Inneneinrichtung und Ausstattung ist nicht Premium, es ist aber alles da und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Außenanlagen sind etwas heruntergekommen, Dinos plant hier wohl grössere Renovierungsarbeiten kommenden Winter. Klimaanlagen und Ventilatoren trotzten auch der Sahara Hitze der 2. Woche. Klares Highlight sind Lage und Aussicht, vom Balkon nach vorne hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf die Hauptstadt und die albanische Küste, hinter einem erheben sich die Ausläufer des Pantokrstormassivs. Tisch dort gross genug um abends noch zu viert Canasta zu spielen. Der Pool des Club Verde Blue konnte mitbenutzt werden und war zu Recht ein viel genutztes Highlight in den heissen Zwischenstunden. Barbarti selbst hat ebenfalls sehr positiv überrascht. Der südliche Teil ist atmosphärisch eher gediegen entspannt, die Restauration am Strand besteht aus zwei an Ibiza erinnernden Beach Lounge Clubs, das Verde blue ist dabei kulinarisch sehr zu empfehlen. Toll auch das Team und die Karte vom Coffee Lovers direkt nebenan! Es gibt genügend freie Strandfläche am Südstrand, der Kieselstrand fällt rasch ab, fischreiches ,sauberes Wasser. Tipp: Tagestour mit einem Motorboot von Spiros und seinem Sohn und Mittags in Kouloura anlegen, reizvoller kleiner Strand und sehr schön gelegene Taverne. Die bekannten Westküsten-Strände wie Glyfada und Kontogialos sind mit dem Auto in 40 min zu ereichen, Tipp :Issos Beach weiter südlich, toller grosser Dünenstrand. Die Betreuung von Dinos war wie schon oft geschrieben sehr nett und angenehm. Insgesamt also klare Empfehlung!
