Lovely boutique hotel and family run. Fantastic homemade food. Beach bar is fab, great service. Some things need to be addressed however: Intermittent WiFi, constantly dropping out Inconsistent shower temp, from freezing one day to roasting hot the next Room wasn’t ready for checking in and they suggested going to get food/drink at beach bar - came back to check in well after 3pm and found the room to be still wet Towels only changed every other day - was not notified until we’d put all the towels into the showe and they just left them there (even though the room was cleaned) Was staying in one of the renovated rooms, though it wasn’t the Mountain View we paid for - no explanation as to why it was changed Wasps/flies/mosquitos can’t be helped but they are crawling all over any buffet food - at least get some dish/net covers for food on display Toilets at pool/beach bar are terrible. No locks on doors/lights or hand towels. It’s a shame as the staff and food is great, beach location is lovely though across a very busy road. More improvements needed as it still smacks of them trying to be do this on the cheap rather than make genuine improvements.

Aurora Beach Hotel is a gem. Located right across the street from the beach, it was a lovely and peaceful place to stay on Corfu. The people who run the hotel are kind and helpful. They helped me with everything I needed. My room was brand new with a wonderful patio overlooking the sea and a great shower. The food was all homemade and super delicious. The beach across the street was convenient and serene. A great place to stay if you’re looking to get away from it all. The only problem is that it is a bit far from the city center, so getting into town for tours was tricky. And walking to the nearest mini market was scary on the main road with cars zooming by. But overall, a fantastic experience.

Very accomodating staff friendly staff. lovely and clean hotel. The food and choice at the beach bar and restaurant was amazing. Very helpful with booking airport transfers, day trips and car hire. Would definitely recommend and would definately return for another stay.

Das Personal des Hotels war sehr nett. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer war schön. Frühstück war schlecht, 80 Prozent Süßigkeiten, 0 Obst. Zwischen Strand und Hotel befindet sich eine viel befahrende Straße. Strandservice Angebot schlecht.

Die Unterkunft war sauber und wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Balkon zum Meer. Die Ausstattung hat den Bildern entsprochen. Die Umgebung war durch eine große Straße etwas laut, die Erreichbarkeit war zu Fuß in Ordnung. Die Strandbar und der kostenlose Strand gegenüber des Hotels waren unser Highlight. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung - allerdings keine große Auswahl.

Sehr schönes 2 Sterne Hotel in welchem man sich wohl fühlen kann. Aufmerksames Personal. Zimmer und Badezimmer waren sehr sauber aber auch etwas einfach eingerichtet was aber generell dieser Hotelkategorie entspricht. Dennoch gibt es ganz sicher schlechtere 3 Sterne Hotels als diese kleine nette 2 Sterne Hotel. Einzig das Bett bzw. Matratze war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu hart was aber eine rein persönliche Ansichtssache ist. Reichliche Auswahl am Frühstücksbufet. Kurz und knapp: Ich würde wieder kommen....

siamo stati ospiti in questa struttura dal 10 al 17 giugno c.m. ,ci siamo trovati molto bene .La cucina , la cortesia del personale e la pulizia ..i loro punti di forza; l'assenza di un ascensore e canali tv italiani ...quello di debolezza. Complessivamente un'ottima esperienza.

Charming

Friendlier bar staff would be nice. Also pool hours stated differently then when you get there. However, overall this is a wonderful small hotel with charm. I definitely would stay again.

Idyllic

Just got back after a weeks stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is outstanding. The place is beautiful. Very peaceful if you dont want the hussle and bussle of town yet an easy bus ride into Corfu Town. It has a lovely little beach with sunloungers and a beach bar where Joshua is an outstanding host, very friendly and chatty who could do enough to make our stay as lovely as possible. The pool area too is a nice alternative if all the sunbeds are in use. This place is a must for anyone who wants a quiet relaxing time

Nice hotel with a family feel

Had a wonderful time at the Aurora. The staff could not do enough to help us. Even arranged a taxi for us when we could not get one late at night. one call to the hotel and ten minutes later taxi arrived at our bar. We hired a car to go everywhere which we loved. Only found out once there that if you hire a car they normally include hotel transfers, Taxi cost us 40 euro each way for approx 10 mile journey. we would have saved 80 euro if hired car with transfer option. don't even have to have car for full holiday,

Hotel delizioso a due passi dal mare

L'hotel e' delizioso e con grande comodita' a pochi passi dal mare stupendo e con piccola spiaggia privata. Inoltre si trova in un posto strategico , geograficamente parlando, in quanto e' al centro dell'isola e quindi sia il nord che il sud si raggiungono in circa 30 minuti di auto La gestione e' familiare e ringrazio tutti per la loro grande cortesia e disponibilita' per qualsiasi nostra richiesta. Abbiamo mangiato bene se dovessimo ritornare a corfu sicuramente andremo all'hotel aurora.

Relax fronte mare

Sono andato in questo hotel perché mi sono fidato delle recensioni ed ho fatto bene, i proprietari Cosma ed Evi sono fantastici e cordialissimi, la piscina molto grande e la cena abbastanza buona, la spiaggia è un po' piccola ma comunque gradevole con il mare spettacolare a qualsiasi ora del giorno. La colazione molto abbondante però per i miei gusti un po' troppo salato. Complessivamente l'hotel per essere un due stelle è molto carino, pulito, tranquillo e perfetto per trascorrere una vacanza relax.

Perfect stay in Corfu.

Perfect three days in Corfu. The Hotel is in very good conditions and with a incredible location. The private beach, the pool, the bar and the beach bar make the stay even more confortable. The manager and the service is also unsurpassable.

Consigliato!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo specie per chi sceglie mezza pensione (la cucina è casalinga a base di piatti tipici),il personale gentile, la struttura ben tenuta e pulita (anche se si potrebbe essere più accurati nelle stanze), ottima la spiaggia privata (ciottoli) sotto l'hotel con beach bar. Assolutamente necessario un mezzo per spostarsi,perché è un po' isolato. Sconsiglio le camere vista mare parziale perché la vista è ridotta e prendono poco sole,restando così un po' umide.

Lovely family run hotel

We stayed at the Aurora for 7 nights after reading online reviews and we weren't disappointed. The hotel itself is a fairly standard 2 star. The rooms are small and basic but comfortable and perfectly clean. The pebbly beach was great for swimming and enjoying a sunset beer, and the swimming pool was lovely and refreshing. It was really the staff that made our stay. They were so friendly and welcoming and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We'd recommend paying a little extra and going for the half board option. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner was great. Simple home cooking that was incredibly tasty. This is a wonderful place that we'll happily return to, and good value too!
