A little gem in Kavos

Booked this for myself and 2 teenage daughters so they could go party and i could R& R. It didnt disappoint! Rooms are spacious & clean with everything you need. Its a 10 min walk from the strip so far enough away from the rowdiness of Kavos if you want a quiet break. The beach is literally the back garden and the pool is never too busy with comfortable loungers to sit on. The family do their utmost to make your stay be the best it can be. Nothing is too much trouble! They really make you feel part of the family. The food is delicious and choice of drinks plentiful. We all had a wonderful time at Captains Apartments and were truly sad to leave and wished we couldve booked for longer (they were fully booked). Thank you to all at Captains Apartments for a memorable holiday!!!

Lovely little family run complex with two buildings facing each other across the main road from Lefkimi to Kavos. On arrival we were greeted by Freida the owner who was so warm and friendly. She quickly went through booking us in and when we asked if we were ok to leave our car parked in front of the building across the road she said no problem just park there for your stay. Paul her son is also really lovely and so accommodating he is more than happy to cook even mid evening. They have just started offering Greek dishes and their Sofrito was gorgeous. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Captain's.

Die Familie -Mutter Frieda, Sohn Paul sprechen fließend Englisch, da sie lange in USA gelebt haben. Wir haben über Paul den Ausflug nach Albanien gebucht. Sie gestalten einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich. Vorn ist der Pool, hinten ist ein Garten und eigener Strand zum Meer mit Hängematten. Man kann auf 2er Herdplatte kochen. Wir konnten unseren Mietwagen direkt hinter dem Haus im Olivenhain 10 m weg von der Studiotür parken. Minimarkt und Bushaltestelle befinden sich 50 links vom Haus. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

We paid for a two bedroomed apartment with a pool view and ended up in another block of apartments on the other side of the road. Not what we booked. Very disappointing! On the site there is no mention of another property. Due to this we did not use the facilities.The road outside the property is like a race track with very noisy motorbikes, quad bikes and cars going up and down all through the day and night. Earplugs would be a help if you want a good nights sleep.We would return to Corfu again but to different accommodation.

really lovely family run hotel

We stayed for 11 nights at Captains and had a really amazing experience, can't compete with the price nor the excellent customer service, we really felt like we were part of the family. Cheap drinks, good food, only a 10 minute walk from the Kavos strip too! Thanks again Frida, Paul and Billy we will be back soon

Convenient, cheap and friendly

Our group of 10 loved this place. Perfect for a quiet hotel if you prefer to be more secluded from other groups. The owners were extremely friendly and it was refreshing to be able to get to know the owners of the hotel you were staying in. Food and drinks at the bar were very reasonable, it was roughly €6 for a meal and water. Supermarket and cash point just across the road and a 10 minute walk from the main strip in kavos. Would definitely go again.

Miejsce bardzo ładne. Ale hotel nie zasługuje na tyle gwiazdek. Z zewnątrz ładny, piękny basen, bar, blisko plaża, ale pokój katastrofa. Niedoinwestowany. Wszystko stare, meble, łóżko, lodówka, klimatyzacja nie działła. Ale właścicielka bardzo miła i pomocna.

Siamo stati bene tutto sommato, la signora è molto gentile e il figlio ci ha dato indicazioni utili per ristoranti e spiagge. Le camere sono pulite e spaziose. Lo stabile è a 10 minuti a piedi da Kavos, quindi anche la posizione è abbastanza buona.

There are two apartments structure. One (which appears in the photos) looks fairly new and is adjacent to the pool and I have no idea what its facility apartments. The another apartment building across the street is very outdatedwith very poor Facility, old and not so clean. Unfortunately we got this apartment building ' and because we paid in advance with not refundable,we moved to another apartment hotel in Messonghi - (Rossi's hotel - excellent)

Hotel da incubo

Appena arrivati speravamo fosse un brutto sogno dal quale ci saremmo presto svegliati, ma... era tutto vero! Camera angusta, piccola, arredata con mobili vecchi e dissestati. Sopra la nostra testa un lampadario di vetro con una grossa crepa che temevamo potesse caderci sulla testa. Delle luci presenti ne funzionavano la metà. Due piccoli letti con un cuscino e un materasso basso e molto scomodo (si potevano sentire le molle). Le spugne e le lenzuola non sono mai state cambiate in 5 giorni. Solo il sacchetto dei rifiuti ci è stato vuotato due volte. Rumoroso e a ridosso della strada.

Einfache Unterkunft mit einem zauberhaft idyllischem Garten; privater Zugang zum Meer mit Sandstrand und karibischer Palme; der Charme der Unterkunft liegt in der Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Apostolos, dem Sohn des Hauses begründet; wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Best kept secret in Kavos!!!

The only complaint I have about this property is the sign on the road for the property is too small and if you don't look close you miss it. This place is FANTASTIC. The owners, a small typical greek family, make you feel like one of the family from the moment to arrive, right up until you step onto your transportation to leave, and you DON'T want to leave. Kavos is known as a party town, but this place is at least a mile from the town centre, so close enough to walk, but far enough away to not be disturbed by the drunken 20 somethings parting their selves out starting in June to end of July. I truly don't know why it gets only a 2 star rating, the food is AMAZING, the service is amazing, the apartments are fully stocked with whatever you could need, they are comfortable and very clean. The private beach is fantastic and clean, and the rose garden in the back is so peaceful you would never know you were in a hotel that has so many college kids doing what they do. The owners are just the best people, so kind, attentive, tending to whatever you could possibly need or want. And the best kept secret, the FOOD, holy cow can Paul cook!!! We stayed for 8 nights, and I wish it could have been longer, in fact I had a tear in my eye when we had to leave, like I said, they treat you better than family, it is the type of place you want to go back to every time you go to the Island. Now that I am home, I miss them so much I am already trying to plan my next visit, I can't wait to go back
