Character Private Villa With Two Swimming Pools In Scenic Countryside

The villa and the surrounding property is private and there is no interaction with other guests or personnel.

The property is owned by Stathis Krokidis who is always available to help guests with their maintenance needs. The villa is 2km from Agios Georgios beach which is a beautiful sandy beach in the north-west part of Corfu island. It is also approximately 30km from Corfu town. On the beach there are shops, tavernas and fish restaurants. 800m from the house there is Pagi village, a small traditional Corfiot village. The villa is surrounded by scenic olive tree countryside and set in its own garden. It is considered an ideal choice for families seeking total relaxation and easy access to local amenities. A fully equipped kitchen is located on the ground floor with the living and dining area and a cosy stone-made WC. Four bedrooms a large bathroom and a smaller shower room are situated on the first floor which is accessed via wooden staircase. In the front of the house there is a large swimming pool for adults with a beautiful countryside view and a swallow small children’s pool.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Die Lage ist sehr schön, zum Strand und den nächsten Restaurants sind es nur wenige Minuten Fahrt mit dem Auto. Haus, Garten und Pool sind sehr schön sowie sauber und gepflegt. Auch während unserem Aufenthalt wurde gereinigt. Der Gastgeber ist stets erreichbar und hat auf Anfragen sofort reagiert. Sehr gefreut haben wir uns auch über das Willkommenspaket im Kühlschrank. Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Very good villa in a quiet location

Very good villa in a quiet location. Stayed here with my family of 5 adults and 2 children and there it accomadated all of us comfortably. Villa matched the description, the owners were really friendly and left us with lots of supplies - wine, oil, fruit, bread, coffee, tea, etc. Pool area is great.

Schönes persönliches Ferienhaus

Sehr schönes Haus, persönlich und umfassend eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Auch während des Aufenthalts wurde gereinigt (Pool & Haus) und Wäsche getauscht.Toll: die „Erstausstattung“ mit frischem Obst, Wasser, Butter, Brot etc bei Ankunft. Übergabe von Schlüssel und Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut und vollkommen unkompliziert. Auch der Garten ist sehr schön und aus dem Pool waren die Kinder kaum herauszubekommen. Zwei kleine Mankos: Fernsehsender waren nur sehr wenige zu empfangen (aber wer braucht die schon, uns hat es nicht gestört - zudem kann man seinen Netflux/Prime-Account am Fernseher einrichten). Zudem liegt das Haus wir in anderen Beiträgen bereits geschrieben recht einsam. Auto ist ein Muss. Am Strand ist man schnell, aber die Fahrt zu anderen Teilen der Insel ist schon recht aufwändig. Auch zu (größeren) Supermärkten ist man länger unterwegs. Leider war es nachts, trotz der einsamen Lage am Berg, teilweise recht laut, da man die knatternden Motorräder weit hört. Das ist aber weniger ein Thema vom Haus, sondern eher der auf der Insel genutzten Motorräder im Sommer.

Lovely large villa, beautiful pool.

We had a fabulous holiday at Stathis house. The welcome pack was so generous and really helped us arriving with two young children on a Sunday. Miltos is always available to answer any questions and resolve any issues. Stathis also popped by to make sure everything was ok. We loved the pool area and made use of the bbq. We recommend hiring a boat for the day and exploring the coves. We used Porto Timoni boat hire at Saint George’s beach. We loved Romeos taverna in Pagi, suggest booking as only 4 tables, traditional Greek food. Our favourite restaurant was Anemos in Porto Timoni Afionas. Amazing food and best place to watch the sunset, again suggest booking to get a good seat. They also have a children’s menu which is a bonus! Well worth the extra 10 minute drive. Just passed Anemos restaurant is Canteen Afionas Corfu, this is a lovely little place right opposite the sunset viewpoint where you can grab a drink and ice cream and watch the sunset. Thank you Miltos and Stathis for looking after us.

Lovely Villa and Location

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. The location and pool were just perfect, with gorgeous views to wake up to each morning. Stathis was a great host, ensuring that everything was just right for our stay. We had two cars (group of 7 adults) and there’s plenty of parking. Agios Georgios is a short drive away for the beach and plenty of restaurants and Pagi is in walking distance with a gorgeous restaurant (Romeos) and a 007 themed cafe.

Two Weeks of Bliss

We all fell in love with the property on day 1. The house is very roomy and comfortably with everything you need. The photos don't do it justice. We arrived in the dark and when we opened up the shutters the next morning the views could not be believed. Such a beautiful part of the world, a new found favourite part of Greece. You'll need a car to get the most from this stay. The beach resort of agios georgios is just a fee 2kms down the road and a small village of Pagi 800m up the hill has a few nice taverns. The owner and his family are extremely helpful and very quick to respond to queries. Also the welcome pack was huge and much appreciated. This place is a gem, we will be back!! Thank you

Beautifully Perfect

A perfect stay in the mountains of Corfu

This is a truly special place. The house and gardens are even nicer than in the pictures. The views are incredible. We dined outside in the garden each morning and swam in the pool all day. The beds are comfortable and there are fans and AC units if needed. The food left for us in the fridge was a special treat. Do not miss the local restaurant , Romeos about an 8 min walk away. If you're looking to relax in a quiet beautiful area and still be close to beaches and a 20 minute drive to bigger towns this is for you.

Great stay in Corfu

We (4 adults, 4 children) enjoyed the stay at Stathis house very much. Perfectly located (rental car a must!) close to the small town of Pagi with 2 really excellent places for dinner and only a 5 minute drive to Agios Georgios, which turned out to be amongst our favorite beaches that we have visited. At the arrival we enjoyed a filled fridge, which is a really nice touch of the owner. When we had a question about the ACs the we were helped immediately, conversations were always friendly and fast in response time. The house itself spacious and easily fit our group of 8. It is not new, but in perfect shape to feel welcome and enjoy a vacation. Very nice pool and a relaxing great garden and beautiful view over the woods from the first floor. Highly recommended!

Wonderful calm place to relax

We had a wonderful time in "our" cozy villa. Thanks to Miltos and especially his father who took care of the house and our wishes. When we arrived, the kitchen and the refrigerator were filled with the most important things (toast, butter, cheese, sausage, feta, water, wine, juice and lots of fruits and vegetables). That was great! There were eight of us in the villa. There was enough space for everyone. Three of the 4 rooms have a balcony. From which you have an incredibly beautiful view to the east into the green honey valley. In the evening the house is in the shade, which was / is pleasant with the high temperatures outside. There is a barbecue place and not to forget the wonderful pool which is cleaned daily. The only downer is that you absolutely need a car. It's about 1km to the tranquil Pagi and about 3km of winding drive down to the great (and not overcrowded) beach. Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay.

Wonderful house in amazing setting

We enjoyed a wonderful 10 days here. Breathtaking location in the mountains in a comfortable, well-equipped house that the whole family loved. Close to a lovely village with very friendly people and great beach 5 mins drive away. Host was great at keeping in touch - the welcome package of food and drink was much appreciated. Missing the views from the bedrooms but hopefully we will be back one day! Highly recommend this house.

Beautiful and calm

The house and the surroundings are beautiful, you will find everything you need. On are arrival there were fresh fruits, food and wine prepared, so we immediately felt at home. The area is calm and the taverna in the village is a must. Highly recommended Villa !

Great place to unwind

We had a great time here and would recommend. The property is ideal if you want to be away from crowds, busy resorts and want to thoroughly relax. It has a fantastic pool area with plenty of loungers. The setting is second to none overlooking the valley and mountains. The property has lovely garden as well as a lemon tree where you can help yourself. Inside is spacious with open plan living, dinning and kitchen area. As well as good wifi. Upstairs there's bedrooms and two bathrooms. From the house (car required) you can reach lots of beautiful beaches in the area. We visited Paleokastritsa a number of times where you have a choice of great beaches approx 20-25 mins drive. More locally there's Agois Gordis beach, (short drive) with bars and restaurants. Sunset here shouldn't be missed. The near by village of Pagi (featured in James Bond) is quite limited in terms of shops (there is a bakery) /places to eat. It is very friendly with its tiny streets. Would recommend Sprios 007 Bar. Would suggest a big shop at the Lidi by the airport.

A welcoming host and a lovely property

This was a great location with a cafe, snack bar and very good taverna just 10 minutes walk away. The bread van comes everyday to the village with pies, loaves and croissants. The best beach n the area is 1 k away. The pool and garden are wonderful with gorgeous views, the maids service useful and the kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher. Best of all was our friendly host who took trouble to greet us and say goodbye.

Grande et belle villa avec piscine et jardin

Villa familiale, très propre et bien équipée, avec un beau et agréable jardin. Piscine bien entretenue et idéalement orientée. A noter que l'utilisation de l'airco est payante (à régler sur place) et que les matelas sont assez fermes.

Three generations of our family spent a fantastic fortnight at Villa Stathis enjoying the stunning views, garden and pool. We were made very welcome with gifts of local produce from Stathis. We would highly recomend eating at Romeos Taverna in Pagio and a boat trip around the nearby coast.

Urlaub im Paradies

Dieses Haus ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes! Mit viel Liebe zum Detail gebaut, deutlich schöner als die klassischen Ferienhäuser. Neben dem schönen, großen Pool (aus dem unsere Kinder gar nicht mehr raus wollten) ist noch ein kleiner Pool. Der Garten ist wunderschön, mit Zitronen an den Bäumen, alles blüht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, der Besitzer des Hauses ist total bemüht, er hat uns sogar den Kühlschrank gefüllt, damit wir erstmal was zu essen haben. Außergewöhnlich nett! Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, wir haben schön öfters in Griechenland ein Haus gemietet - dieses ist mit Abstand das Schönste. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren.

Geweldige familie woning

Het "Stathis house" in Pagi is een mooi huis om te verblijven met het hele gezin. Zeer vriendelijke beheerder (vader eigenaar). Koelkast was gevuld met flessen water en diverse soorten Kaas. Mooie tuin en fijn zwembad. Gelegen in minder toeristisch gebied in de buurt van het nog niet overvolle strand Agios Georgios. Dit was voor ons een groot pluspunt.
