Perched on a hill in the middle of the old town of Corfu, the flat has been lovingly and thoroughly renovated. The third floor floor flat has 53 steps from the lobby but offers sea views from the bedrooms and a long narrow balcony overlooking characterful rooftops of the town. Unfortunately, the historic building has no lift.
The space
The flat is on the 4th floor of an old Corfiot building dating from the 1890s but has been thoroughly renovated, with stunning views from every room.
There is air conditioning in the living area and fans in the bedrooms, but the flat stays cool by keeping the shutters closed against the sun and the windows open for a good cross-breeze.
There is a clothes washer in the second bedroom and a drying rack for sun-drying.
The television plays from HDMI inputs, so if you want to play from your iPad or laptop, please bring the appropriate video adapter. There is also an AppleTV from which you can log in to your Netflix or iTunes account or Airplay from Apple devices. *Remember to log out before you leave!*
The TV is otherwise not connected to any channels.
Guest access
Guests will have the use of the entire flat.
Other things to note
The flat is in the historic part of Corfu town so there is no vehicular access. Also, as the building itself is historic, there is no lift.
