This so-called 4-star hotel is strictly a tourist hotel, busloads arriving daily. Check-in time was 3:00; our room wasn’t ready until 5:00. Small room, no dresser for clothes. Breakfast only adequate.

This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel. The room had a strange smell and the AC performed very poorly. The window barely let in enough fresh air so the room was very warm. The room was also quite dusty. The “gym” was very small and supplied very poor equipment. Would not stay there again.

The hotel itself was lovely! Small things, no tissue in the room, bathroom sink didn’t drain properly! I did inform the staff. However the parking was a nightmare, not only was there no pull in to drop our luggage, we had to walk to a parking garage a couple blocks away! I understand that it is not the hotels fault however additional details or a message prior to check-in would have been appreciated. The front desk staff were lovely, and took it upon themselves to come outside and assist with our luggage and take it directly to our room, also made a lovely recommendation for dinner as well.

Great location in the middle of Cork. Room was lovely (although the view was just of an internal courtyard... Not that that mattered). Decent size room, comfy bed. Reception staff very helpful. Nice and quiet. Excellent breakfast! Restaurant nice too. Parking available at a good discounted rate in the nearby City Hall multistory. You can park outside for 15mins to drop bags though. Would stay again for sure!

Complessivamente un'ottima posizione. Peccato che la camera fosse al secondo piano interrato e non ce lo aspettavamo. Comunque nel complesso è una buona struttura con un buon ristorante.

The good- Front desk staff was great, location was central and walkable to food, shops, waterfront. Room was comfy. The drop to good from excellent- crumbs all over the 2 chairs in the room (so not cleaned), air conditioner kept going off, vending machine that had electric adapters didn’t dispense, construction all in front made a 2 minute walk a 15 minute drive, no one gave us where to park prior to check in- so back in car for more crazy directions to get to garage.

The hotel’s location is fantastic — central, convenient, and walkable to everything we needed. That alone made our stay manageable. However, several issues would make me choose a different place next time, especially given how many other hotel options are in the area. The biggest downside was the noise. The building seems to be constructed in a way that every door closing or slamming echoed loudly into our room, even late at night. It made it difficult to fully relax or get a solid night’s sleep. Temperature control was also a problem. The thermostat in our room was broken, so we had to rely on the front desk to adjust it remotely, which never actually set it to a comfortable level. It always felt off —way too cool — and we had no way to fix it ourselves. Cleanliness was another concern. While nothing was outright filthy, it clearly hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. My son was playing with Legos on the floor and kept getting other people’s hair tangled in the wheels — more than once. That’s something that shouldn’t happen in any hotel room. Finally, for what the hotel offers, it felt overpriced. The amenities didn’t match the rate, especially compared to what else is available nearby. All in all, while the location is excellent, the noise, temperature issues, and lack of cleanliness mean I wouldn’t stay here again. With so many options in the area, it’s worth looking elsewhere.

Cork itself is a gritty city. There is no way this hotel is a 4⭐️. I’ve seen a hotel before that had a “check in kiosk”. Rooms were basic- no toiletries in the room. Shampoo and conditioner were in bottles hung on the wall in the shower. Daily made service was incomplete and poorly done. Staff themselves were lovely and very helpful. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it. Poor value - almost $1200 CAD for 3 nts. Not worth it.
