"Everything was readily available, super convenient, great location and much better than a hotel. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, full kitchen, large common area and laundry facilities in the same complex. "

"The staff were less than helpful, There was no car parking anywhere near the hotel. It was student accommodation and not suitable for mature aged travellers. We chose not to stay here and found another motel."

"This place was tidy, cozy, and had everything I could’ve possibly needed for a lovely vacation in Ireland. There were also plenty of helpful recommendations thanks to the lovely host. Would absolutely book again!"

"I asked the property manager at least twice for the physical address of the property. He never gave it to me. His best answer was that it was the red building on a street, up a steep hill.On the bright side, it was located close to the train station, and within reasonable walking distance of Center City.Getting hot water was tricky. "This was a lovely spacious unit, very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds, quiet. Nice touches like milk in the fridge, tea in the cupboard. It was a little far from the city Centre - 25-45 minute walk but no problem for us as we are walkers. Buses are nearby. "

"The property is excellent. 5 Stars!!! The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats. "This Hotel was Excellent! We booked two rooms for two nights each, to be able to enjoy Cork. When I booked them, I wasn't sure if both rooms would be King beds, because of the description. But turns out that they have a King, and a Super King (apparently a super King is just a little larger than the King) So that worked out great for all of us. The Maldron has a great staff, so professional, whether it was the front desk, room service, the dining areas or the bar. The hotel looked brand new, the rooms were spotless the bathrooms were great- we loved the "rain shower". The beds were SO Comfortable! The pricing was great also. The Maldron (South Mall), is just around the corner from streets filled with really great restaurants, shopping, wine bars, pastry/coffee shops etc. Parking is available through them 24/7, but not on site. We chose to park at the Mall because we didn't need our car in the evening, or till after 8am when the garage opens. But check the hours first! Everything we needed was within walking distance from the Maldron. Great Hotel, great area for food right around the corner from it! Highly recommend!"

"Probably the best overall hotel that I've stayed at to date. We were greeted very warmed by Ken. Such a kind and helpful man, my shy kids even felt comfortable asking him questions. The entire staff was very kind and helpful. Always checking on you as you walked by. The property itself is stunning and fairly priced for all the amazing amenities. Can't say enough good thing about this hotel. High praise from the kids too."

"The staff was great and the room was great for what we needed during our stay. The area immediately surrounding the building didn’t always look or feel all that great, but that is just from the looks. Was out and about most of the time. So, grain of salt. But the facilities were solid. "
