This is a truly magical place. Secluded in an paradise island. Every single staff member did their best to provide us with a top-class experience. We only had one small hiccup with the concierge prior to check-in. We requested guidance in the country entry requirements and, although we were told that they would check with management, they never got back to us. It does not reflect poorly in the concierge but, in my humble opinion, in having the right training from management. No big deal. I explained this to hotel representatives as area of improvement and, it seems, they were interested in setting a protocol for it. Walking distance from the hotel, there is Derek’s Place, a diving center. Incredible night dive where we saw an octopus in action! And many other creatures. I would definitely come back to this place.

Yemaya Reefs exceeded our expectations. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning aesthetic that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The ocean views were breathtaking and made for a truly relaxing experience. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. The food was also a pleasant surprise—the menu offered a great variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. If you're looking for a peaceful, upscale getaway with exceptional service and incredible scenery, Yemaya Reefs is a fantastic choice. We would gladly return.

We got the delux room with the ocean view and private pool. It was to celebrate my 40th birthday and the perfect choice. The accommodations felt like a true paradise. The grounds were well kept. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food and beverages were outstanding. The room service the following day was true luxury with hot tea waiting for us after a day exploring the beaches. I recommend spending in spending extra on the transportation from Big Corn Island Airport. I love the offerings; we got to go snorkeling.

I spent three days on vacation with my husband. We ran into some issues because the shuttle arrived at the airport early, even though we had sent our itinerary via WhatsApp. The hotel is a nice place to relax, though the restaurant staff aren't very attentive. I liked that the room was cleaned daily; the fish ceviche was delicious, as was the Nicaraguan-style breakfast. However, other items—like the hamburgers and fish tacos—were not good. This place has the potential to be a great hotel, but it is lacking in several areas. One highlight was Jeff, the manager; he was incredibly professional and attentive to any issues. Honestly, he made me feel like someone actually cared about my vacation. If you run into any problems, speak to him—he’ll provide a good solution, since sometimes the other staff members aren't willing to help. Thanks, Jeff—I enjoyed my vacation, and I do recommend Yamaya.

Excellent place. Excellent location. Great food. Rooms / villas have great oceanfront view. The beach was pretty clean and great for swimming. Nice location away from everything if that’s what you’re looking for. But close enough to the village if you’re wanting to go in for a meal or a nice walk (30-min each way). Hotel staff was good overall, but definitely lack the hospitality factor. Given it’s the best resort in the island and not many guests at once, we would’ve expected a more personal treatment. Overall 4.5 out of 5 stars. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a secluded place away from everything.
