Escape to Pathway to the Sea C202, a beautifully appointed 2-bedroom condo perfect for families and groups seeking a relaxing beach vacation. Enjoy stunning water views from the private balcony and unwind in the spacious living area perfect for family gatherings. This condo boasts a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, a king-size bed in the master bedroom for a restful sleep, and a washer/dryer for added convenience. Step outside and enjoy the beach, a sparkling pool, and plenty of outdoor space for grilling and dining. Create lasting memories in this beautiful condo, perfectly located for exploring all the area has to offer.

The Pathway to the Sea Complex is currently under renovations. This will impact parking and more details will be provided to guests with reservations. Pricing reflects this, and no extra discounts apply. We apologize for the inconvenience.

CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.

Fun Stay

Inside of condo was updated and clean, outside of condo and property around needs updating. Rusty stairs and building needs painting- path to beach is full of weeds and uneven rock. It made the trip to the beach with a wagon hard. The inside of the condo is updated and nice kitchen with all utensils needed. Only thing is the 2 pull out couches are very uncomfortable and the L shape position they are set up in makes it so only one pull out can be used at a time. Other than that it was a great stay.

Condo was very clean, in great location, close to the beach and felt safe with my mom, 2 sisters and 2 babies. Would definitely stay again. Only con was there weren’t any cooking oil, seasonings, coffee or sugar, due to COVID which is understandable so I would just make sure to bring that next time. Also you will need bug spray. The mosquitoes were out to attack you as soon as you stepped one foot outside and when you are walking down the path to the beach. Not sure if it’s just this time of year but OFF was our best friend. But other than that we really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend!

Location is the Key at Pathway to the Sea!

Our family stayed in this townhome in October 2021 and really loved this unit. The decor was coastal and beachy. All tv's and appliances worked properly. The guest bedroom maximized its space by adding a twin bed along with the queen bed which was perfect for our family. Both bathrooms are spacious. The balcony faces Lake Padre and when you open up the blinds to see the lake it makes the unit feel scenic and spacious. Due to Covid, the comforters were different than shown in the picture and the outdoor patio pillows were put away. The balcony is a great feature! Can't say enough about the location of this property to the beach - location, location, location! The complex pool is spacious and has a great sun ledge, but no hot tub. The shared gas grilling station was honestly really great and we all would gather for lunch after swimming in the pool in the picnic area next to the grill. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!

Great beach access, but the beds are hard as a rock. Need to really get new mattresses. A little discerning that the cleaning fee is so high when we found grapes and trash under the couches, and when we wash our hands the water was clogged, well we found a bunch of hair and crap in the sink plug...... But if those where fixed it would be perfect!!! Seriously my back is killing me due to the bed....get new mattress.

Great location, a few edits needed

Great location close to the beach, quick access to everything we needed. Check in and check out were easy and simple. There was a pervasive smell of stale smoke present the whole time. The floors and rugs didn’t appear to have been recently cleaned, and someone stepped on a piece of broken glass not from our stay. Would benefit from additional towels and blankets. It looks like somebody used a small grill on the patio and left the charcoal mess behind. Overall, the accommodation were attractive and comfortable.

Only one issue

My experience with the property was excellent. The only thing that fell a little short but is not a showstopper was the hot water in the property. It was very limited and I suggest turning up the heat on the hot water tank so that it can last longer for groups that have bigger parties. Waiting for hot water to replenish is not fun.

Perfect Place!

My husband and I came to the Island to celebrate our anniversary. The condo was exactly as described. Check-in was a breeze and the property manager even called before we arrived to make sure we had access instructions and her number. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. It was a three minute walk up the private trail to the sea wall and beach. It was less than 20 minutes to the National Seashore and about the same distance to Port Aransas. We use VRBO each time we travel and it can be hit or miss. This one was a real hit! Hope to stay again in the future!

Corpus Christi Beach Trip

Fairly new complex, clean, close to stores and restaurants, super friendly booking agent, and a few minutes walk to a great beach. We had to change the dates of our first reservation because of a hurricane and they were very accommodating and actually offered a refund when I was only expecting an offer of alternate dates. We rebooked about 3 weeks later, and then another storm but this time it was going to directly affect our dates but I appreciated that they reached again reached out and offered us a free cancellation or different dates. We will definitely be booking with Padre Escapes (via VRBO) next time we visit the area.

COVID Getaway

We needed to get away and have some beach fun. This was a great spot right near the beach. The only thing that I have to complain about is the cleanliness of the unit. There was a musty smell and the floors were dirty. There was still sand in the bottom of the shower. It’s like they changed the sheets wiped the counters and let us in. With COVID as bad as it is to me this was unacceptable. I went out to buy Clorox wipes and cleaned everything myself. Since they charge a hefty cleaning fee I thought this would have been better.

great location short walk to the beach

Very nice property overall, great location, a little disappointed in the cleaning. Range top looked like it had never been wiped down, we did and it was very dirty that came off easily with a wipe. Floor was sandy and there was a lingering smell of smoke even though it was a non-smoking property. Open parking was a bit of an issue, since cars were prohibited from driving on the Beach some used the lot since it was close, even though signs said tow away not sure how you would enforce it, should have at least 1 assigned space like other properties in the area. At least you can then report someone in your space.
