Fabulous time in Southern Italy -

We had the most enjoyable time at this fabulous villa for a month - joined by our friends for a week. The place was so ideally situated that we were able to discover the many local areas within the vicinity in less than an hour. Luigi and his beautiful wife made our stay so much better by organising restaurant bookings and assisting with helpful advice. Hopefully we’ll be back

Fabulous secluded villa in Puglia

This villa is in a stunning location with amazing views, peaceful and with total privacy. The house has all basic amenities, and outside area is beautiful though probably unsuitable for very young children and people with reduced mobililty due to number of steps down to villa. Luigi was very responsive and provided great info about local restaurants, beaches, and areas to visit. Definitely need a car - easy drives to Pescoluse beach, Gallipoli and Otranto, all certainly worth a visit. No access to the sea from the villa. Would definitely return for another visit.

Lovely place!

One of the loveliest places we have ever visited. Great house with several verandas plus rooftop terrace with stunning sea view. Direct access to the sea from the house we would not recommend for either children or adults that are not too fit anymore … there are great beaches nearby though. Also, very friendly owner, so anytime again!

Perfect location with a fantastic sea view

Luigi’s villa sits in an extraordinary hillside location above the sea with a magnificent view - on clear days we could even see Albania across the Adriatic Sea. The house offers perfect privacy as it sits in a vast, beautiful terraced garden. It is planted with splendid olive, myrtle and carob trees, and offers several seating areas, which are suitable for any need - sun or shade and different times of the day. We spent a week here in July, and even on hot and humid days there was always a pleasant breeze.The house and pool were spotlessly clean.Luigi is one the kindest hosts you can imagine. He had provided us with a list of very useful suggestions for sightseeing, restaurants, nearby beaches and grocery stores already before arrival. Luigi showed us around the house and gardens on arrival and during our stay was extremely responsive to any questions we had. 
We enjoyed our holiday in Puglia a lot and can recommend Luigi’s place 100%.

This Place Takes Your Breath Away!

A wonderful stay in this amazing place with views that take your breath away! Better than the photos, and the photos are great!The only trouble is having to leave to tour southern Puglia, but a great location for that as well. The inside is simple and clean, but mostly you'll want to stay outside in any of the special areas that Luigi has created. So quiet and peaceful. A place to truly unwind. Luigi is one of the nicest hosts we've ever met. Had wonderful suggestions for sights and places to eat, and was super responsible and available for any issues that came up. We had a small hot water heater issue and he was able to find parts and get it fixed within hours. Just amazing. His plans for a hot tub and small pool sound special as well. As he said "4 days is not enough time here"" and we have to admit that was very true. You won't be disappointed staying here. Grab it if it's available!!! Thanks Luigi!

Stunning Views and Great House

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this house at the end of May 2023. We would definitely rent it again and have no hesitation in recommending it. The views of the Adriatic are fabulous and the landscaping, with its many seating and dining areas, invited one to linger and relax. There is also access down to the water although it is further down than we would attempt. The house was comfortable and conveniently located for sightseeing and shopping. Luigi was was very responsive during the booking process and, since he lives near by, was available almost immediately to help with a couple of minor issues. The online pictures are accurate. One note of caution… there is a staircase from the driveway/parking area to the house (no photo online —I would estimate it to be 20-25 steps — forgot to count them). The stairs are level and wide but there’s no handrail. This wasn’t a problem for us (77yo and 81yo) and Luigi carried our heavy suitcases to the house.

Luigi war der perfekte Gastgeber - sympathisch, jederzeit freundlich und gut gelaunt. Abwicklung und Kommunikation waren perfekt!Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Lage mitten in einem Naturschutzgebiet und bietet eine wunderschöne Außenanlagen mit vielen Plätzen zum Verweilen (je nach Tageszeit und Sonnenstand). Wer ein ruhiges Plätzchen fernab üblicher Touristenplätze in apulischer Atmosphäre sucht, wird hier sicher fündig. Vielen Dank für deine Gastfreundschaft Luigi!!!!

das erste mal in Apulien

Wir durften 10 Tage in diesem wunderschön gelegenen Haus verbringen. Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich schön, sehr ruhig und komfortabel. Das Haus ist sauber und funktional eingerichtet.Luigi ist ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der jederzeit bei Fragen zur Stelle war und er hat uns wertvolle und Interessante Tipps sowohl für Ausflüge, als auch für Restaurantsbesuche gegeben. Wir haben unseren Urlaub deshalb in Apulien sehr genossen.

Emplacement absolument extraordinaire avec une magnifique vue sur la mer à 180 degrés, tranquillité absolue, les extérieurs de la maison sont superbes et la piscine un véritable enchantement. Liebe zum Detail in Apulien

Wir haben 10 Tage in Primaluce verbracht und haben jeden Tag genossen. Die kommunikation mit Luigi war unglaublich - stetig zur Stelle, auch kurzfristig und immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und uneingeschränkt gastfreundlich. Das Haus ist sein "Baby" und genau so darf man es sich vorstellen. Auf dem Gelände gibt es verschiedene kleine Oasen, für jede Tageszeit und jedes Bedürfnis (ob Schatten oder Sonne) gibt es den passenden Platz.Morgens haben wir schon mit einer Runde im Pool den Tag begonnen, auf der Terrasse oder einem der sonstigen Sitzplätze, die Aussicht auf das Meer genossen und abend auf der Dachterrasse die letzten Sonnenstrahlen eingefangen. Wir waren Anfang Juni hier und die Sonne verschwindet dann gegen 19:00 hinter den Bergen. Wir haben gekocht und auch wunderbare Restaurants in der Umgebung besucht, die Gegend erkundet, alles ist möglich und das Salento eine verwunschen schöne Gegend. Es lohnt sich, diese zu entdecken. Jeder, der Ruhe Sucht, eine schöne Umgebung und Liebe zum Detail zu schätzen weiß, ist hier wunderbar aufgehoben. Eine Empfehlung: Mückenschutz auf jeden Fall dabei haben. Viel Freude für alle, die in Primaluce einchecken und diese wunderbaren Blicke genießen werden.

Villa mit atemberaubendem Ausblick

Bei der Ankunft wurden wir vom überaus freundlichen Eigentümer des Hauses, Luigi, persönlich begrüßt und durch das Anwesen geführt. Der Ausblick auf das Meer und die Küste sind überwältigend, insbesondere auch von der Dachterrasse aus. Der Außenbereich mit seinen unterschiedlichen Sitzplätzen für jede Tageszeit ist individuell gestaltet. Der zweite Sanitärbereich im Außengelände und die Warmwasser-Außendusche waren sehr angenehm. Im Innenbereich ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Ebenso in der gut ausgestatteten funktionalen Küche. Die Betten sind angenehm bequem und Insektenschutz vor allen Fenstern und Türen ist vorhanden. Der Eigentümer hat uns nach der Ankunft ausführliche Hinweise und Routen zu Geschäften, Restaurants und Bademöglichkeiten geschickt. Der anspruchsvolle Weg zur felsigen Badebucht wurde uns von Luigi gezeigt. Luigi ist ein außerordentlich freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und rücksichtsvoller Vermieter. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt und werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Delightful villa

It’s location was lovely, as were its grounds. The accommodation was quite basic but adequate. Not especially well equipped with crockery etc but just enough to get by. Being late autumn the sun left the house late afternoon about 4pm, but the morning sun at breakfast on the terrace was lovely. The weather became very humid so we found it hard to get everything dry on some days. Swimming impossible immediately below house but there are made up paths further along where you can access the water by lots of circular salt pans. Once in the swimming is perfect, clear blue sea, still warm. We loved our 2 weeks and are grateful to Luigi for being so courteous and attentive.

Robinsonhausparadies an der Steilküste mit unglaublich freundlichem Vermieter

Lage: Primaluce ist ein hübsches Haus in Alleinlage ca. 60 m unterhalb der Küstenstraße. Die Straße hört man kaum bzw. selten. Das Haus liegt inmitten eines sehr schönen, terrassierten Gartens mit Olivenbäumen, Lorbeerbüschen, Myrte, Kapernsträuchern u.v.a.m, den Vermieter Luigi liebevoll angelegt hat. Von dort und von allen Terrassen hat man Postkartenblicke auf das Meer und die Steilküste. Einrichtung & Ausstattung: Pragmatisch und praktisch, alles funktioniert. Küste/Strand: Man erreicht das Meer über einen steilen Trampelfpfad. Z.T. gibt es Stufen aus Findlingen. Dauer ca. 20 Minuten. Es gibt keinen Strand, sondern kleine, versteckte Felsplateaus, die sich als Badeplätze eignen und von denen man ins Wasser kommt. Badeplätze am besten von Luigi zeigen lassen. Auch hier Alleinlage. Schön zum Schnorcheln. Wunderbar ist die warme Außendusche im Garten nach dem Baden. Duschen mit Meerblick - einfach paradiesisch. Ausflüge & Besorgungen & Essengehen: Man braucht für alle Vorhaben ein Auto. Luigi hat jede Menge gute Tipps was Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten betrifft. Er ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Zeigt einem alles, auch die Badestellen, ist immer ansprechbar, hat uns riesig bei unserer Autopanne geholfen und verdient eigentlich zehn Sterne. : ) Fazit: Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Primaluce genossen. Ruhe, lesen, den Mond oder die Sonne über dem Meer aufgehen sehen, den Garten bewundern, zum Meer wandern. Und wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir Luigi kennenlernen durften.

Salentino Paradise

If you’re considering this rental but are on the fence , I have 3 words for you : views , views , VIEWS !!!!! Photos really don’t do any justice to this little corner of Salentino paradise . Luigi’s home was spotless clean and perfectly appointed for any needs (kitchenware , tableware , you name it !) . You can tell the love and thought put into the house and every corner of the terraced garden . Perfect sunsets every morning (worth the early rise for sure!) and star gazing from the top terrace at night , falling asleep to the lull of the Adriatic Sea right bellow our feet … We didn’t want to leave and will be back for sure . Maison très agréable avec un superbe point de vue

Un très agréable séjour dans cette maison, la vue est magnifique et le jardin est tres agréable pour flâner. L’hôte est charmant et répond à toutes vos questions et apporte de très bonnes recommandations. Nous recommandons vivement. Seul petit bémol, il est indiqué une crique pour se baigner depuis la maison mais malheureusement ce n’est pas baignable.

Meer zum sattsehen

Das Haus war sehr schön, Luigi ein guter Gastgeber. Leider war die Möglichkeit direkt ins Meer zu kommen nicht gegeben, da es zu gefährlich war, insbesondere mit unserer Enkelin... Ansonsten haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und es war sehr alltagstauglich eingerichtet.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans ce petit paradis, isolé et face à la mer. Luigi est une personne adorable et aux petits soins. Nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour.
