Villa Torre degli Elci is located in the hills of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by iconic olive trees and cypresses, just 4 km from the Etruscan town of Cortona. The villa’s name derives from its history as an ancient watchtower dating back to the 13th century, which later became a monastery and eventually a home. With views of Cortona and the Chiana Valley, here you are far from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by elm trees.

Villa Torre degli Elci is a 5-bedroom/6-bathroom property spanning 300 square metres, featuring a main house with three levels and two annex buildings. On the ground floor of the main house, there are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms; one of these bedrooms has a fireplace. On the ground floor, there is another double bedroom and a bathroom, as well as a spacious living room and dining room—featuring another cosy fireplace—a kitchen, and a reading room. On the second floor, there is another reading room with a beautiful panoramic view, along with a double bedroom and a bathroom. From this room, you can access the attic via a steep wooden staircase, where there are two single beds and a bathroom with a shower, which is suitable for children.

The first annex has a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, with a dining area and a half-bathroom. There’s a large outdoor area here, and right next to the kitchen, you’ll find an old stone oven for making delicious homemade pizzas! Dine under the gazebo and enjoy the breathtaking view of the hill where Cortona is located. The second annex features another double bedroom and a bathroom, a minibar, and a laundry area.

There is plenty of space to explore the expansive, lush gardens and relax by the pool, with the Tuscan landscape as a backdrop. The garden is tended weekly by the groundskeeper.

Villa Torre degli Elci is completely private and for the exclusive use of guests. Access to the property is via a paved road leading to the entrance gate, which opens onto a private parking area that can accommodate up to 6–7 vehicles (with a carport for some of them).
The garden covers 5,000 square metres and is equipped with outdoor furniture, an outdoor dining table with benches for 10 people, a barbecue area, firewood and charcoal, and a private pool (dimensions: 10x5 metres, with a deepest point of 1.45 metres) featuring 5 sun loungers, 2 deck chairs, 3 umbrellas, and a gazebo.
