“The little apartment was fine, BUT it was not "in front of beach" as advertised, in fact it was across the road at the back of a very nice 3 story hotel/condo complex. To get into the apartment you need the host to tell the hotel that you are coming. The host did not do that and had her phone turned off even tho she knew the time we were arriving. Several times she did not even return messages.”

“We loved our stay at Sol de Arena! The location just a short distance from Las Terrenas is perfect, as it's a little quieter. The pool and location right on the beach are fantastic. It felt very safe, and we loved the many restaurants and bars in the area. The company running the resort is fantastic - they'll help with free towel swaps and tips for activities. They even came by at 11 pm when I couldn't get the TV to work. We'll definitely be back!”
