“This hotel is all about location with fantastic views and close proximity to the castle. The pool was a bit disappointing as the pool itself and the pool area were particularly warm so not altogether refreshing on a hot day. We enjoyed an evening meal outside in the cafeteria area. Breakfast was okay but a bit expensive for what is on offer. Overall, a good stay but subject to the exceptional views not particularly special.”

“Well located. Room was basic but clean. Water was not replenished daily which is expected at a 4 star. Pool was great but there must have been a junior golf tournament one day and the pool was extra busy and became cloudy. That night I was very itchy so there must have been an imbalance in the pool chemicals. I couldn’t find anyone to tell. The poolside bar was not open when advertised.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend, firstly the really positive points: Staff were amazing, so helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Lovely pool area, really clean and always sunbeds available. We paid slightly more for a room next to the pool and would really recommend doing this. Food absolutely stunning, we ate breakfast most mornings and the variety and quality of the food was fantastic. We also had lunch and dinner on numerous days and always of a fantastic……

“Beautifully maintained property. Generally staff could not do enough for us. Water in room not replaced after initial bottles on arrival. Turn down service nice touch!”
