“#1: Google Maps failed to get us to the property every time. This is not the fault of the owners, but it is something every visitor should know. #2: check-in time is 5:00. We arrived way too early, but we were lucky that our room was already clean and ready. Our host was very nice and accommodating. “We arrived in Cherbourg by sailboat, but the journey had been rough and we were feeling cold wet and tired, and wanted a nearby place to recuperate, rather than sleep on our boat in the cold weather. This place was ideal. We had good wash and sleep, and was refreshed for our onward sailing journey.”

“Een prima hotel. We bleven hier twee nachten en in combinatie met het restaurant Le Local een perfect verblijf (gezellig en lekker). De receptie is maar beperkt bezet en daar buiten kun je wel binnen komen met code via SMS, maar die kwam bij ons niet binnen. Dat vroeg om even wat communicatie via een intercom. De kamer was ruim, schoon en volledig (zelfs koelkast). Prima bedden. Ook een prima uitgebreid ontbijt. Pieux is een kleine plaat, maar mooi centraal gelegen. Vlak aast het hotel een……

“Everything was great very nice. Only issue was that we had no hot water to shower the morning we left, which ironically enough is exactly why we booked them because of a hot water issue at another facility. As we left they told us it was fixed and we could use it but we were already packed up and had plans/timetables for the day. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.”
