“A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in……

“Fantastic location. Shops, restaurants, and the River Liffey within a few minutes walk. Keyless entry to the apartment, using an app, was convenient. The balcony was nice. Having a washer was good. The apartment smelled very fresh when we opened the door, however, the place could use an overall refresh. There were stains on the sofa, in the bathtub and mold on the bathroom ceiling. There was outside music and noise up until 3 am each morning, but given the location, we expected this.……

“Very good value for our first time in Dublin. This place is modern and bright and our room was very satisfactory and on the third floor (no elevator). It was a dorm room and we had bedding, pillows, towels , even tiny shampoo, soap, lotion to go with the tiny bathroom. Plenty of storage: wardrobe, drawers, desk, lamp, big window (didn’t open wide for obvious reasons), shelves in room and bathroom. The floor below us had a kitchen lounge, well appointed. “This is a very comfortable apartment with clear instructions on use of the appliances, heat, etc. Easy access to major roadways and the Dublin Airport. We had a 91 year old travelling with us and it would have been helpful to know there is a stairway up to the entrance door and a stairway up to the bedrooms of this unit. “From the loading bay in front of the property, it’s a step over the pavement to the bar, where there was a welcome and an efficient introduction to the building. Access is easy with a key fob. The room was cosy and clean. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked clean too. The location is right in the town and there’s a big car park (pay and display) behind it, with very handy EV charging. Being a busy bar, it gets noisy at night. There are good places to eat nearby in the town, and the parkrun……
