In een klein kasteel met een giga grote dito kamer met badkamer en zelfs een eigen relaxkamer met koffieapparaat(tje). Super gaaf al is alles gedateerd maar dat heeft juist veel charmes, Franse!! Midden in de natuur en buiten de stad.

Perfekter Ort um sich auszuruhen liegt das Etablissement doch in einem riesigen wunderschönem Park mit Jahrhunderten alten Bäumen. Wir haben vor Ort um eine Nacht verlängert. Das Frühstücks gleicht einem "Tischlein deck dich" und die Zimmer sind schön, gross und sauber. Wir werden uns diese Adresse merken

Merveileux séjour !
Tout est parfait jusque dans les moindres petits détails. La chambre spacieuse est décorée de manière raffinée ainsi que l’ensemble du domaine. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement distingués et prêts à vous aider à chaque minute. Le domaine est très vaste, d’un calme olympien. Nous sommes du genre à aimer découvrir de nouvelles choses, mais ici, nous y reviendrons !

L'Abbaye de Vauluisant, et son cottage en particulier, constituent le nec plus ultra en matière d'accueil et d'hébergement. Nous avons adoré cette escale, la présence de notre hôte du jour toujours très enthousiaste, l'appartement spacieux et bien décoré dans le respect de l'histoire du site, et un petit déjeuner divin. Plébiscite incontestable, nous incitons tous les voyageurs à y faire halte !!!

Une belle étape de charme.
Soirée étape sur la route des vacances, l’abbaye, bien que facile à trouver grâce au GPS et proche des sorties d’autoroute, bénéficierai de meilleurs indications et de plus d’éclairage la nuit. Endroit très calme, même votre portable se fera silencieux faute de réseau. L’accueil par les hôtes est très chaleureux. Le salon et sa très belle décoration y est aussi pour quelque chose. Les chambres sont vastes et belles, la nuit tranquille sur une très bonne literie. Le petit déjeuné, simple mais copieux et gourmand, se fait dans une jolie petite salle à manger. Bref: une belle parenthèse sur le trajet, un peu de calme et de beauté sont toujours bon à prendre.

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay
What a wonderful location for a night away. Couldn’t recommend the Abbey any more as a place to stay, beautiful setting, large bedroom and bathroom, very peaceful and very welcoming hosts. The only shame was that the food didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience, but we would still return.

Absolutely loved our stay at Abbaye de Vauluisant. The property is gorgeous! We stayed in the cottage and it was wonderful. I wish we would have had more than one night to relax and enjoy the views. We were welcomed promptly and breakfast was great. Would love to return! Would recommend.

Étape improbable sur l'A5 à 10mn de la sortie d'autoroute pour éviter les hôtels un peu trop standardisés. Très bon accueil, chambre confortable dans son jus historique d'une vielle bâtisse. Petit salon et salle de bain séparés ! Au calme loin des hameaux, réseau SFR 4G mais Orange ne passe pas. Pas de problème car wifi partout donc Skype marche.

Amazing bohemian estate
This isn't like any hotel I've ever stayed in. It's a big estate with housing that used to belong to monks (I think). Anyway, the grounds are pristine, the small apartment was very clean and the staff who greeted us were friendly and nice.

Planned our itinerary to include 2 nite stay. Abbey is spotless, rooms superb, atmosphere stately and romantic, with spacious grounds to explore. By request,dinner available. Hosts are a treasure and most attentive but non-intrusive. Highly recommend a stay in fabulous historic place in the. Country side close to Sens.

Beautiful location in the countryside
Just a magical location particularly if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing location. Room was very stately and well presented. Meals provided were excellent but as we were on the off season not sure what restaurants were available in the near vicinity. Excellent location and highly recommended particularly if you are looking for a special location for a wedding

Ein Ort zum Träumen
Nach einer freundlichen Begrüßung wurden wir zu unseren Zimmern geleitet und es gab eine kurze Erklärungen dazu. Man hat uns ein Abendmenü im Haus angeboten, was wir aber außerhalb eingenommen haben,. Beim näcjhsten Besuch vertrauen wir aber mal den beiden Besitzen und Speisen dort im wirklich schönen Speisesaal. Alles in allem ist es sehr ruhig und der gesamte Aufenthalt war wirklich entspanennd. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder !

We stayed in 2 bedroomed cottage but to stay in main building was much more classy & luxurious but as there are only two rooms for b/b they can be difficult to book. The home cooked dinner & breakfast was great & glad of it as area very quiet & remote. We visited Troyes nearest big town on our way to Beaune & it's well worth visit..charming town. Abbeye does a lot of weddings which I'm sure are stunning due to character of house & grounds

Absolut der Hammer, Gebäude und Park einer ehemaligen Klosteranlage mit großem Sachverstand im Grundsatz restauriert und erneuert. Tolles Zimmer, antike Möbel,äusserst bemühte Gastgeber, auch Diner und Frühstück sehr persönlich. Eigentlich kein Hotel, wir waren die einzigen Gäste, DIE Empfehlung schlechthin...

Dans un cadre et une maison de rêve, au calme et la sérénité. Relation agréable avec les hôtes, et un rapport qualité-prix excellent. En particulier le pris du repas du soir et du petit déjeuner sont trés raisonnables.

perfect food, perfect hosts, perfect setting
We stopped here on our way up to the Champagne region, and are so happy we did! Truly one of the most tranquil overnights of our many many trips. It is partly a working farm, and has not been overly sanitized. It was just perfect. the stream and the outbuildings were fun to poke around in. The two gentlemen who run it are amazing and hit the balance between great service and maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. A pool is sorely lacking, but aside from that, and the remote location, it cannot be faulted. I also imagine that weekends are less calm with weddings taking place, as it is an ideal venue.
