Arrived at car park barrier, but opening key with apartment key in keysafe on 3rd floor apartment door. Also discovered there was no elevator as promised on website apartment deails. Both my wife and I are in our 80s so found this daunting to say the least (54 stairs). On complaining to management company Book and Pay they denied the promise of an elevator until I texted them a screenshot of the website apartment description. We vacated the apartment 3 days early and asked for some compensation. Book and Pay response was that they were unable to confirm our leaving from the local conciergerie and so were not prepared to compensate us. This was despite going to the conciergerie office and handing over the apartment key to a member of staff on the morning we left.
The apartment was fine and the location was excellent but it seems unlikely at the moment that we wil be using VRBO again anyime soon.
