Arrived at car park barrier, but opening key with apartment key in keysafe on 3rd floor apartment door. Also discovered there was no elevator as promised on website apartment deails. Both my wife and I are in our 80s so found this daunting to say the least (54 stairs). On complaining to management company Book and Pay they denied the promise of an elevator until I texted them a screenshot of the website apartment description. We vacated the apartment 3 days early and asked for some compensation. Book and Pay response was that they were unable to confirm our leaving from the local conciergerie and so were not prepared to compensate us. This was despite going to the conciergerie office and handing over the apartment key to a member of staff on the morning we left. The apartment was fine and the location was excellent but it seems unlikely at the moment that we wil be using VRBO again anyime soon.

Gwenhen "Bien …. Mais 🙂 L’emplacement est top, la vue est belle et la proximité de la plage et de la ville permet de tout faire à pied. Le parking privatif est un vrai plus, ce qui permet de partir en voiture sereinement. 🙁 La literie est catastrophique…. On a très mal dormi pendant notre séjour. La proximité du port de pêche amène beaucoup d’odeur désagréable… heureusement que l’appartement est au dernier étage. Justement, le dernier étage, sans ascenseur, demande une sportivité…. Surtout avec des bagages ou des courses."

Gwenhen "🙂 Fabulous view over the port. You get the sun in the morning as you have breakfast. A short walk to a local bakery and the bulk of the restaurants. Very comfortable and well-equipped. 🙁 You need to be aware it's on the top floor of the apartment block and there is no lift. That's fine but it's a bit of a pain getting luggage up and down. No access to the basement means it's difficult to safely store bikes."

Gwenhen "Great view. 🙂 The view was great with a little sun deck that opens to the harbour lock. A lovely little town. It is so worth it to have a view of the ocean and the boats. It is a busy little sea port. The apartment is great and can fit a large family. Wash machine came in handy. There is a dish washer too but we didn't use it. We rented a car and had a great time exploring the north of France. It was nice to be in a smaller village with such nice people. I recommend this location. 🙁 I wish we had stayed longer."

Gwenhen "Séjour à Courseulles sur mer 🙂 L'emplacement, la vue mer, la très bonne literie dans la chambre des parents 🙁 Le manque de chauffage. Les radiateurs étaient bien en marche mais pas assez élevés. Même s'il faut rester raisonnable et ne pas surchauffer, là c'était vraiment trop juste. La poussière (quelques beaux moutons), les miettes sous la table et le filtre du lave-vaisselle qui était vraiment très sale."
