"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"We had a lovely stay in this chalet cottage.... Beach is a short stroll away but if using the car there are generally plenty of places to park......Easy access to places of interest such as Mont St Michel and the Normandy landing beaches...... We really enjoyed our time here."

"Lovely location. If required theres not a great signal for phone service and no WIFI. The house was tastefully decorated, we personally thought there could have been a few more kitchen items eg:- baking sheets for oven, bbq tools, grate for grill pan. Although the garden looks large the cottage is in the grounds of a larger house and unfortunately my French is not great but i was assuming the garden just surrounding the cottage was for our use and having a dog, the garden area was not enclosed...

"Helene was a superb host. Her communication from booking to check in was excellent, and she came to welcome us at the start of our stay and farewell us at the end. The house is beautiful and even better than the pictures, with a fabulous view of the sea, the saltwater lido pool in the bay and the bouchon mussel farm round the bay. The living rooms are spacious, light, and you ah w great views from the front of the house and of course the balcony which runs across the whole front of the house....

No reply received to 4 messages sent to the owner over a 4 week period until the day before we arrived. 2. Only 1/4 of a toilet roll provided. 3. We had to make up the bed. 4. "Séjour à 2 couples avec chacun 2 enfants Les propriétaires ont été très arrangeants pour les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. "No lounge, no bar it was essentially a ‘Blackpool’ B&B. Also it was further out of town than I thought. Equally, the only restaurant on site was a faux hamburger joint. I stay at IBIS hotels often, and IBIS Ouisterham regularly. Coutances was the worst ever."
