"This is probably one of the best weekend stays/hotels I’ve ever visited. I’ve stayed at resorts and much more expensive properties, but this property hit the mark in every way. From the check-in staff at the front desk to the valet crew, to the bartenders at Coppins to the staff that brought extra towels, luggage carts and ice buckets… Everything and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and made this stay memorable. As far as the property goes, it’s conveniently located to the city of Cincinnati, however, just a little bit off the beaten path enough to be away from city things… I love the quaint area. I loved the easy and affordable parking. We did street parking even though the valet let us load and unload there when we needed to. I have absolutely zero complaints and I really appreciated Peyton at the Front Desk and Jamie at the bar. You have a great staff and a great facility five stars…you made my boyfriend’s birthday weekend special!"

"We enjoyed our stay at The Golden Goose; however, the listing was a little unrealistic. The home was big and accommodated our large group well (heads in beds). It looked bright and clean in the listing, however, we found it to have a more aged (paint peeling, no door on entry closet, pool table felt rough, front railing loose, etc.) and compartmentalized feel than the listing appeared which made keeping up with the small children difficult. My biggest complaint is that the floors were not clean on our arrival. With 5 small children in our group this was disappointing. But, overall it worked for us. One note: I have MS. Steps are difficult but not impossible. If you have much difficulty with mobility, this house may not be for you. The steps are fairly steep with handrails on only one side."

"We enjoyed the room decor and found the stay relaxing. We were very disappointed that we were asked to take our own trash outside to a dumpster before leaving. With the cost of the room and the additional resort fee, this was not what I expected. When we inquired about this requirement listed in our checkout instructions, we were told we could take trash to the dumpster if we felt comfortable doing so. This was definitely not how it was stated in the instructions."

"We liked the convenience of the area & all the things within walking distance & the price. Having a parking spot included was a plus. Upon checking in we noticed a puddle of water in the bedroom coming from a leaking air conditioner. We called the host & they answered the phone immediately. They contacted maintenance to fix the issue. The place was fairly clean but the floors should have been swept better, especially in the corners. The only thing we didn’t like about the place was not having an oven to bake anything in. We like to cook & even if there was a small countertop toaster oven that would have been more convenient. Overall satisfied & will stay there again when we plan another trip in the area."

"Must like lizards. I've never seen so many in a yard in my life ha ha! The kids loved them! The house was extremely clean and tidy! The host really thought of everything! Great communication when we had questions!I wasn't thrilled with the house tucked behind businesses or the area but I felt safe. I also didn't realize we were sharing a duplex. But overall it was a great rental for our trip! We were very close to Newport Aquarium and the Cincinnati Zoo. The Ark Encounter was a bit farther but not bad at all!"
