Great weekend getaway

A short break

We stayed at High Tide for a winter weekend break. It was clean and warm and had everything we needed. Comfy beds, Netflix and pod coffee machine! The small yard was perfect for our escapee dog and the beach is a handy distance for taking her for a walk. Would stay again.

Location

Very happy with location of this property. 5 minute walk to boat ramp/beach - great for our 4 month old puppy. Then an easy 30 minute walk along beach into centre of Cowes. We only used the downstairs area as only two of us but looks like it could sleep another 6 upstairs, with another seating area and bathroom. Property had everything we needed.and was very clean. Will definitely book again next time we visit the Island.

Getaway

We had a very comfortable stay. House was very clean, had everything we needed from pots and pans, plates, coffee and toaster facilities, extra blankets etc.Communication was excellent, ask a question get an answer within minutes.Parking was a bit hard as the shape of unit is awkward, but we managed although garage has a small door so we ended parking in the driveway.We rate this property 8 out of 10

Lovely stay

The house was lovely. Clean, spacious, great little touches and additions in the kitchen (different types of coffee machines with frothers, well stocked) games for the kids. House was also private and quiet. Only thing slightly annoying that had to drive to get to places. A 20 minute walk to shops (Coles), which was fine to do once or twice, but would've been nice to not have to get in to the car. Short walk to beach (with cafe at end of residential street next to beach), and a nice 20 minute walk along the beach to Cowes jetty. I would highly recommend for families.

Perfect location and layout

We stayed with extended family - the layout of the house was brilliant. The addition of the extra TV upstairs with games console was great for the kids. We had some friends over for dinner and the outdoor table and Bbq were excellent for entertaining. More than happy with property

Modern, clean, very comfortable

In an excellent location, this residence had everything we needed for a very comfortable weekend stay. The beds were super comfy, the bathrooms very clean, secure yard for our dogs, well appointed kitchen with everything you need (we just brought our own sharp knife - because we are fussy!). Heaps to see in Phillip Island and all easily accessible from this home. Very quiet neighbourhood and very private. We will visit again!

The accommodation and location was good and would happily stay again . Unfortunately after the stay the agency took an extra payment from my card of over 600 without my knowledge. The money was reimbursed when l raised it with them and I was told us was a glitch in the system. Makes me wonder how often this happens and if everyone checks there statements..

LOST DOG!!!

The house was fine etc BUT the bloody gate in the backyard did not close properly and my purebred English Staffy got out on Friday night!!! We had to search the neighbourhood for 3 hours, called the police, until someone finally found him and let us know… this was the worst feeling I’ve ever had losing our family dog! My daughter was crying for hours. And all because the “secure” backyard was NOT secure!!! If our dog wasn’t found there would be a lawsuit attached to this message. Claiming the yard is secure when it WAS NOT is false advertsing and couldn’t cost us our family pet… so no, I’m not happy! The house was fine but EVERYTHING was over shadowed by losing our dog on Friday night…
