The Sanctuary feels like it is a million miles from the madness of Barcelona. But the fact is that is just a 52 minute train ride away (and the trains are free all of 2024). This means day trips in to see Sagrada Familia or Gaudi things are easy. Yet it is a far cry from the expense of Barcelona. Relaxation is inevitable. Nearby, within a few minutes walk are big grocery stores and loads of restaurants. In summer you can rent paddle boats, jet skis, sailboats and even charter powerboat trips. There is plenty to do, even for kids, as there is a water park open june- sept, as well as a kids play zone.Everywhere are little parks with swings and climbing equipment. The boardwalk runs for miles, and is great for long walks or even rollerblades. The beach is huge, and never overcrowded. It´s pristine blue flag waters are warm and inviting from June until late October. The house itself is very tastefully decorated and very well stocked. The kitchen would be appreciated by chefs. It is more like your second home rather than a below average rental. Smoking is ok Outside on the huge balcony.
