“Sehr geschmackvoll saniertes und eingerichtetes altes Gehöft. Sehr freundlicher Service und zuvorkommender Inhaber. Es gab nichts zu bemängeln (außer vielleicht die tief hängenden Leuchten, an denen sich sehr gross gewachsene Menschen wie ich schonmal den Kopf anschlagen). Das Restaurant hat grosse Ambitionen und ein entsprechendes Preisniveau. ”

“As a stop on a father son Camiño Ingles, I was concerned about the location as it would require a taxi to go there and back. I didn’t need to worry. The taxi ride from Cafe Avelina was easy and the location was heavenly. The feel of the building, the family-like friendliness of the staff, and the excellent food. I have not even talking about the view overlooking a forest down onto a stream. This is where you want to stay. Highly recommended!!! This was exceptional!”

“The apartment we stayed in was amazing - Lole and Tere were very accommodating. The food was fantastic, especially the shrimp and the steak. The pick up from the bar on the camino worked perfectly and the drop off was equally easy. The place is beautiful and the staff work really hard. “This hotel was an absolute oasis on the Camino - although it was freezing cold outside, the room was toasty warm (and the radiator was perfect for drying out cold, wet hiking gear). The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home. It's a few minutes from the center of town, so much quieter than other places - and best of all, breakfast was way above average. I especially enjoyed their fresh-squeezed orange juice. A real gem of an inn!”
