The Rumi Punku is a gem, a real oasis in the middle of busy Cusco. There is a gate that is staffed by a security guard, so guests feel safe right from the start. The front desk staff were outstanding, answering questions and pointing out amenities. Tea and filtered water are available 24 hours. The breakfast offered many selections including breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and eggs cooked to order. A delightful place to stay when exploring Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu.

Breakfast was fresh and varied, and the location is PERFECT —just a short walk to the historic center, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cusco. This property was beautiful, with so many colonial touches...lots of character. There were quiet patios and an upper lounge area that was nice to relax in at days end. I really liked the proximity to so many points of interest eg. Cathedral, San Blas and yet on a lovely quiet street, which was also well served with markets, pharmacy, vendors. The staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel, esp rooms away from the main entrance and dining area which can be a bit noisy. Breakfast was nice and served early, which was ideal for early morning hikes. Just as a note, some grab and go fruit would have been nice.

Fantastic stay in Cusco

Great stay in this Inca/colonial style hotel just 5 minutes walking distance from the central square. Rich breakfast in a cosy library with an open fireplace. Best of all - the reception staff - helping out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

This was one of our favorite stays on this adventure. The room had just about everything. Breakfast was wonderful. Every staff member, except for the grumpier older man at the front desk, was wonderful. It was in walking distance of everything, but far enough to be quiet. There were small convenience stores right on the block. We would definitely stay here again.

My experience was excellent, bordering on perfection. The hotel delivered a near five-star experience, with most aspects deserving full marks, although there were minor areas for improvement.
