I asked days in advance for info on how to check-in the property. I kept getting a *this is an automated message. And every time I asked for help I was referred to "go to the app" I was never sent/received the info sheet with instructions. They will insist it was sent.. but I didn't get it. Why would i lie? I just wanted to get in the room and get ready for a wedding rehearsal. I like to be prepared before I arrive at location, and of course I had faulty phone service, so it took over 20 mins to enter the room. Finally some one said use the 4 digit phone number.. WHAT? who's number.. yours or mine, no help. Finally when I had the manager call me she had a sarcastic tone, and was unpleasant. They made excuses that they have many rooms to manage, etc etc, making me feel non important ,and I was reprimanded. As a rental house manager myself, I knew this was armature hour. I provide full instructions, codes, etc clearly. The VRBO app isn't always clear and they did nothing to help make the process smooth. The apt was lovely and clean, but the human factor was non existent, and the Texas "friendliness" was vacant from the manager. We sat out side waiting for someone to call us. Just say No to this customer service. They'll make excuses and reply to this to defend themselves. But take it from a customer/guest ...
