I was under the impression when you stay at a bed and breakfast that breakfast was included. Found out didn’t spend enough money a night to include breakfast. I think spending over $500 for 2 nights , breakfast should have been included. Also had to ask for housekeeping on second day. Will never stay there again.

Guests beware: this is a self-proclaimed B&B that provides breakfast to only some guests. The only way to know that before making a NONREFUNDABLE reservation is to somehow understand that because "breakfast" is not included as a "amenity," the room in this "B&B" doesn't include breakfast. Clearly, I am not the first to have this misunderstanding, as the room has at least three notices stating in large letters, "this room does not get breakfast." When I mentioned this, the proprietor stated in part that the high price of eggs made it impossible for a breakfast to be provided -- with a room cost of almost $300 nightly. Never ever again.

Buyer beware: Have you ever heard of a B&B that only provides breakfast to some guests? I hadn't. It turns out that the only way someone knows that a particular room doesn't include breakfast, prior to paying, is to surmise the same from the fact that breakfast isn't included as an "amenity," or, after making a NON REFUNDABLE reservation, reading the fine print AFTER paying a non-refundable reservation. When I mentioned my surprise, the proprietor also noted that my reservation, about $300/night, wasn't at a high enough price point to cover the price of eggs. (Yes, he really said that.) I wasn't actually in the Inn, but some in a row of rooms about 5 feet from the road. Worst value in a B&non-B I've experienced, alas.

A stylish New England Inn

This is a beautiful inn with rooms available in the main house. We stayed in the annex and unfortunately the room was too bright and stuffy to sleep properly for our one night stay. However, on the plus side the annex had access to the main house which had a beautiful sitting room with games and food and drinks available. I would conclude : consider paying more and staying in the house itself.

Super cute place. The onsite staff member was amazing. My only complaint is that our room smelled heavily of cigarettes. Not fresh. Like it was an old smoking room. We bought air freshener while we were out and had to spray repeatedly. Everything else was amazing
