"This was our favourite hotel our entire trip. location was right in the middle of town making it easy to access both by the car but also on the walks about. anything you need was in walking distance. The bed was so comfy we sleep the whole night through and then some."

"The other people staying there were odd. There were men sitting in cars and standing about the property just watching people and smoking. It was a bit sketchy and felt u safe. The room was clean but really unconfortable and damp smelling. The staff did nothing wrong, just the whole vibe of the place was off."

"This was a great spot for our first time to Cape Breton. It was a perfect location to easily go on either side of Bras D’Or lake. Port Hawkesbury is 20 minutes away so getting groceries and finding a good spot to eat was easy. The cottage was perfect for two, clean, cozy, and with a great view. Props to the host for thinking of the little extras that people might forget to pack, like a makeup towel, hair elastics, first aid kit and even tea and coffee. "The house was adorable, very comfortable, really cozy and we felt like we were really staying in our own home. It overlooked the bay had great views. Well stock kitchen, comfortable beds, great lawn and really friendly for our dog Luna-- The location was easy to find and easy to get to local beaches and the town of guysboro to listen to music. Plus it was so quiet we could sit on the screen and porch or sit in the garden and just gaze and be very peaceful -- We were especially grateful to the host who handled a minor emergency quickly easily and they made it simple and not a bother at all"
