“The staff are lovely and helpful and hotel is quite nice. Its location is also very central. The hotel room was quite cold, however, due to gaps between the windows and the window frame. The hotel offers heaters but these are reasonably pricey. I was able to manage in November but I suspect it would be miserable in December and January. Also the hot water supply was inadequate. It took 20-25 mins to heat up and I found that I had to turn up the heat every minute to keep it reasonably warm.”

“The rooms were clean and the staff were really helpful. They need to make the hotel more friendly for the people with disabilities. They need to put side rails up and make the hotel more wheel chair accessible. Furniture is old, basically to maintain the colonial heritage, but still the furniture could polished to look new. Otherwise no complaints.
They just need to make it more friendly for the DISABLED since it’s on the top of a hill.”

“It was a pleasant stay at Hotel Sumitel Spa n Resorts. Everything was as per our expec tations. There should be some improvement in toiletry items. Towels were old and to be discarded now. Comid lid was not fixed properly. But overall we liked the ambience. And the most beautiful part is that you can see the beautiful view of Kanchenjunga from your rooms. Thanks. ”
