"This Howard Johnson was a very nice stay. My room was easy to get to and quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good. The front desk was very nice and helpful both in the evening when I checked in and in the morning when I left. I would stay here again."

"Hotel was nice and very clean. All staff and workers so friendly. Bed was very comfy and room was spacious, even tho we didn't have a suite. As both of us are gluten sensitive, it was nice to see scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast.....also yogurt. They had Seattle's Best coffee. The decaf I poured for breakfast tasted like it had been there since yesterday, but they had coffee packets and brewer in the room to brew fresh. We didn't use the pool or any other amenities. Would definitely stay here again!!!"

"Property is well kept and clean. Very easy lake access. Would be a great place in the summer. We came in mid-fall; was a bit windy but has a fire pit you can use outside. Beds are very comfortable and each room has it's own ac/heating unit. Very easy to access elwood or lexington. Blankets/towels/condiments/coffee maker (keurig) with k-cups and creamer/. would stay again."

CONS: Slow internet, dried ketchup on the ice bucket lid, carbs only option for breakfast,
We’ve stayed at very nice Econo Lodges in the past. Lexington was not even in the ball park. "
