"We stayed a couple of days and what they refer to as the apartment. It is a suite with a separate bedroom, kitchen and living room. While it was nice having a very large room, it could be furnished a little better. The kitchen is basic with all the appliances, refrigerator and so forth, but the living room area is extremely large with a small amount of seating I just think they could furnish this a little nicer. Otherwise, the hotel was fine. There are several fast food places in walking distance and several restaurants down on the main street."

"Host was very responsive and quick to resolve issues that came up. Issues included creaky doors, door handle that fell off, and a fly infestation due to the weather shift and not from uncleanliness. The outdoor space was spectacular. Our group utilized the pond and spent a great deal of time fishing, playing basketball, enjoying the patio space, and using the hot tub to soak our feet. The space was perfect for the four families with children, 18 people total. We even did a murder mystery game and the grand room with the piano was the perfect setting for our game. Bedding was excellent, so comfortable. There are a couple bedrooms on the second floor that were directly under the third bedrooms and some guests claimed they could hear a lot of the walking (sound barrier maybe a bit less in those spaces). Kitchen was so well stocked and we utilized it a great deal and never found anything lacking. Would highly recommend it for a group gathering."
"We had a great time! The house was very comfortable, had everything we needed. The telescope is a plus! The area is great for stargazing, even with your eyes, standing outside, you see so many stars, and the milky way. The house is 10 min from Mariposa, with great restaurants and stores, and a short 1h drive from Yosemite. We will definitely be back!"
"I stayed in a pet-friendly family suite (there were 3 adults and a small dog in our party) in mid-October. Great location to the Big Flat and Hetch Hetchy entrances to Yosemite. The staff is SUPER friendly and nice. There's a park across the street where I was able to walk my dog."
You can study the exhibits at Northern Mariposa County History Center, a museum with a story of its own, during your holiday in Coulterville. While in this family-friendly area, you can savour the top-notch restaurants.
