Tucked away in Deal’s charming Old Town, the house enjoys a wonderfully peaceful setting while still being only steps from the vibrant high street, where you’ll find independent shops, fantastic cafés, and a wide choice of excellent restaurants. One of Number 5’s standout features is its private off-street parking for one car — a real rarity and huge bonus in the town centre, where parking can be limited and costly. We found the house to be very comfortable, with car parking available on the front drive, a three minute walk to the beach, and five minutes into the town.We had a very enjoyable week in a perfect location in deal.

This property was just what we wanted. Very clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Maybe a couple of games like Scrabble or backgammon would add to possibilities when it is raining. Can’t wait to be stay there again.

We stayed for a long weekend in Deal (which in itself was a revelation - super nice). The property is just as described- so near to the shops and restaurants and also the beach but without any noise and parking to boot - which could be horrendous in peak season. The property itself is nicely furnished and we spent a long time looking at all the beach/nautical items. All in all I would thoughtless recommend this as a stay and Deal is well worth a visit. Owner was upper helpful and friendly too.
This is a lovely little house in a great location. It is decorated with a lovely seaside theme. I was confused about what was in the third bedroom as the listing said it had a futon in it but a previous reviewer had said there wasn't. After querying this with the owner she said a small mattress can be put on the floor of the smallest bedroom if requested and this is what we chose. The conservatory and garden are lovely spaces too. Deal is a great place for a holiday with castles, a pier and promenade. I only gave 4 stars overall because it needs a bit of work-in particular new freezer drawers. The owner said that there was to be work done to it at the end of the season. Overall it was lovely and we would love to visit again.
We stayed here just before Christmas last year and had a lovely stay. We booked it for my parents, who really enjoyed staying there and loved the house and location. So convenient having parking, and can walk everywhere quickly.
The cottage was great. It was very comfortable and a good size for 4 adults. It was very clean and had really good facilities.Communication with Clare, the host, was brilliant and it was very easy to check in and to check out. A great location with good restaurants only 10 mins walk as was the sea front.We really enjoyed our stay and happily return.
