"We were there for 3 nights. Conveniently located walking distance from the beach. Very spacious apartment. Very quiet. Comfortable bed. Two tv’s. Two pools, one very small, the other bigger. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen, including a cappuccino /coffee maker. Coffee provided was not espresso. Bathroom was fine but dated and water pressure in the shower was low. If you don’t have a car (we didn’t), note that there is no convenience store nearby. It would have bern nice if the property had a few bicycles. Having a car is strongly recommended. "

"Rooms not ready on time (4:00) because they are understaffed. Limited food options. Most of the people who work there have a bad attitude (front desk, restaurant (not the steak house - which is a dinosaur). No one smiles."

"There three days and no room service. With the price we paid, I expect clean towels daily. I was charged for a bottle of water and found out about it after we checked out. Took a lot of phones call to finally get the front desk to dispute the charge. Not the best process."

"My sec time vacation for my bday in Opal resort . Booked last min.however ,the Hotel restaurant " Drift " bartender not nice .We had dinner at bar not even once bartender greeting . No service . no water for us.very mean . ruined my bday . $5300 flight with 3 nites hotel are not worth it this time. Won't go back again "

"Clean room but musty smell from the moment you walk in and in the room. Not a greeting from the front desk people. They were too busy on their phones or buried in a computer. When I checked out, the young man handed me the receipt, said nothing. Not even “here you go,” and of course did not ask how the stay was, did not wish me a good day, did not say good bye. I was taken aback by the utter rudeness that pervades the front desk people. Also, the check in area looks like an old hospital station with staff not only there are miserable and rude, but look disheveled. Now, that said, room and bathroom old but spacious and very clean - once I blasted the AC to get the mustiness out of the room, but that took a full day. Location and price great, but would rather pay more to be in a place with professional and courteous staff. One exception - bartender was very good - great drink, cordial and courteous. "

"Nice hotel in a good location. Comfortable rooms. Thought the housekeeping staff were pretty lapse. Never refilled our coffees each day so had to keep phoning down to get replaced and also did not top up toilet paper etc - not what you expect of a hotel of this calibre. Overnight parking was pretty expensive too. "

"I ended up staying in Delray Beach by happy accident. The Atlantic Hideway was so charming! Just as pictured, very clean, excellent staff responsiveness (no issues-related to late check in). 2 blocks from the main drag on Atlantic Avenue, just far away enough to be away from the noise. Safe neighborhood. Will definitely return for a longer stay!"
