This charming house has loads of character and is in a great location near Atlantic Ave, with convenient access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The accommodations were comfortable, and the space was exactly what we needed for our stay. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Daniel was very responsive to our questions. The house was great. My wife loved the upstairs suite and both our kids really enjoyed having their own space. The location was great for walking around downtown or even walking to the beach. My wife enjoyed a couple of runs from the house to the beach. We were in town to see my grandma, we weren't in the house much for eating, but would love to come back and stay here again.

The house was very well stocked with toiletries, kitchen needs, laundry, towels, blankets etc.It was difficult getting into the property as no code or communication was sent prior to arrival. Took about an hour to get an answer from the host. All communication after that was good.

Lovely house in Delray!

We spent January at the Shady Lady in Delray and thoroughly enjoyed it. We walked to the Ave every day and sometimes to the beach. Daniel was so helpful and very responsive. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed for a home away from home. We plan to stay again!

Great property and great private back yard!! Grocery store, liquor store, cigar lounge, and restaurants were all only about a mile away from our location. When we go back i will definitely be in this property again. Owner was great on communication and very pleasant. 5 stars for sure for a nice relaxing low key property

Downtown close to all restaurants and about 1.3 miles from the beach. Nice place and worked out better than i thought. Well stocked with supplies which was great. Only improvement would be shades on a few windows upstairs to block out sun/heat. A/C worked well though and fans were good.

The place is as described. It's an older place. As a Florida man, this is a Florida home. Close to the beach and nightlife. Some may find the neighborhood sketchy, but it's a block away from the police station and gentrification.

Daniel was communicative and accommodating. This little house is adorable and it has a ton of character. We had everything we needed to be comfortable for a two week stay. Daniel is quick to respond to questions. Understand that this a downtown property in a downtown neighborhood! Its proximity to Atlantic Avenue, 95 and the beach make it a great place to stay!

Well worth it

The house is exactly as described. It’s vintage, with the old original structure, but the appliances are updated. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the easy walk to the Main Street. Daniel is a responsive host. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a unique experience.

Our stay at The Shady Lady ( fun name has a story), Was comfortable in every way. The house had lots of character, which made it feel like a home not a hotel. We had plenty of amenities related to a home. The location is a chill neighborhood, within close walking distance to night life ( eateries with entertainment) shopping and about a 30 min easy walk to the beach.

Pictures are accurate

No rhyme or reason for how it’s decorated but that is what gave it lots of character outside or the normal grey, beige and whites you see everywhere. Had to capture and release a baby lizard once so that was a highlight. Ample off street parking for 2 cars and close to everything. Caught the free shuttle to Atlantic a few times so that was a huge benefit.

Delray Close to Beach

I enjoyed the property itself, it was spacious for me and my dog. I feel that the fact that it's urban adjacent is kind of glossed over; yes, it's 2 blocks to Atlantic Ave. but I wasn't totally comfortable walking around by myself at times. There's also a literal junk man across the street. He would bang on washing machines to flatten the metal I guess? I know he's trying to make a living, just saying that there are a lot of noises from that house.
