This was a great place to stay if you want to be close to shops, restaurants, activities and to Denali National Park. When you are in Alaska there is so much to see and do, so having a comfortable bed to sleep on at night is all that is important.

The cabin was really cozy and the staff were helpful. Not many owners tell you that they built their own places like this, which heightened my respect as we need more hard workers like him. Beds were cozy and showers were nice and hot. Will be coming again next time.

The room was spacious. The kitchen supplies were thoughtfully provided. Staff were very helpful and kind. I would certainly go back for my next trip. They helped in handling the transport arrangement for my bag which had a wheel broken.

I would not recommend this place at all. My father passed away a day before my trip. I contacted the property manager to request cancellation of my trip. They did not help me out with my cancellation or refund my money.

Room was huge with big kitchen. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Good location. There is no elevator, but it’s only one flight of stairs. It is a funky building on the exterior and on the boardwalk with lots of shops and dining options. More importantly, they are right across the road from the Princess property that has free shuttles every half hour to all the National Park places. The property will pick up and drop off from the train as well.

The staff was excellent and the room was nice, in good shape, and bathroom was clean. Nice door locks via key code. Truly a motel lodge with no elevators, no indoor accommodations, or food. Older TV with limited stations. However, they own the Denali boardwalk with lots of food options including Chinese food. Right across the street from the Denali Princess Lodge where all the buses and tour shuttles pickup and dropoff.

As the name says, this was a basic motel with whole lot of RVs. Pictures shown were when it was new. Check in was easy but with a lot of rules, which we had to agree individually. It was clean at least with a working coffee machine, little fridge and microwave. First day I had parking issue as I reached the property late. Overall, I felt it was too expensive for what we got.

It’s Key to know that this is a motel. This is not a Hampton Inn or Hilton level hotel. As a motel, it was fine. It had a bedroom and a separate room with a kitchenette sofa, table and chairs. We were able to cook all of our meals using the kitchenette that was present. It had all of the cooking items, plates, utensils, etc., that we needed and then we washed everything in the sink each day. The TV had very limited options. It was basically just the standard local networks with the digital extra channels that come with them. We were surprised that there was no cable. The sleeper sofa was OK. It worked, but the mattress was pretty uncomfortable and difficult to get a good night. sleep on. The motel is located about 1 mile from Denali so it’s walkable to the national Park and it’s a very short drive, so the location was really good. We enjoyed our stay once we lowered our expectations that we were staying in a motel and not a hotel.
