Good meal at hotel restaurant but EXPENSIVE (like most of Alaska!) $145 for 2 entrees and app no drinks. $176 with tip. The “bread bowl” was 3 tiny pieces of foccocia for $15!

This property looked nice, however, when we stayed, it was in the 40s and 50s and the heat in the room barely worked and it is not well maintained. It is on the top of a mountain away from the restaurants and stores. They do have a free shuttle that runs every half an hour. It was pretty inconvenient overall to get back-and-forth to the park because of the time in between the shuttles. It is not really walking distance to the national park or the bus depot. We ate at the restaurant and the food is just ok, but with Alaska prices.

Basic resort, they definitely need to add a bit more to their hospitality. Paying almost 500 dollar per night in such a distant place would at list worth welcome drink or breakfast or complimentary coffee. We spent 5 hours to get there on my birthday and got nothing, even BD card just bare very basic room. Staff just seemed indifferent. So I can only give credit to the restaurant. Stay for a dinner there, and spend rest of your money for better accommodation and attitude in resorts where people care.

We stay at a different hotel, The Denali Bluffs Hotel. Check-in was very long and there was only one person checking everyone in. The food was pricey and was served cold. The rooms were clean and nice. The views were great from the patio.

Nice clean rooms. Access to room was a downhill gravel driveway, would be nice if paved. Would be nice to have an onsite restaurant for lunch. Coffee to-go shop coffee was terrible, could use improvement. Not a great selection of snacks to go. It would be nice if they paved the while road going up to the resort
