“I booked this hotel for a stay for my husband’s birthday, thinking the price would be worth the experience. I was wrong. Pre-arrival was promising from the reservations team wanting my partners name to personalise the stay and I also booked a room upgrade and some cupcakes for the room on arrival. We took our dog and to be honest I he had a better time than we did. The upgraded room 304 with balcony was very nice I must admit. With a nice view of the loch. There was a nice bed, bowls and treats……

“When we booked and received confirmation of booking instructions said they would send us code for building 48 hours before arrival. We never got any information had to contact them on day of check in. Reason I would not recommend: We were staying in room 107. The kitchen floor had splashes of clear liquid and brown liquid (coffee?) The sofa was visibly stained in many spots and so uncomfortable (felt like springs were poking thru). Only way you could sit on sofa was to use a throw pillow as……

“The room was great and the hotel was well kept. However no on let us know we needed a reservation to sit in at the restaurant. It's kinda annoying that we had to order and take it back up to our room.”

“we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto……

“This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and it just gets better. My only disappointment was we were only staying for one night and not many more. The staff are outstanding in their friendliness and helpfulness. Our room was amazing too! We were visiting family in the area so it was only a short walk from the hotel. We will definitely be back.”
