I booked and paid online with Expedia which of recent has become my favorite. Little did I know Expedia was no longer working with Lagoon Beach Hotel. I got there and I was told this. I had to pay again to have a place to stay. I will therefore request that Expedia to refund the money I paid online. ...

The room was clean and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful and the food tasty. The pool was out of order and the water pressure quite low, but the setting was beautiful with excellent opportunities for birdwatching. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The accommodation was actually better than expected. The staff were really nice and welcoming. The only issue on the day was the hot water stopped working. However they provided hot water from a kettle to bath "old school style"
